Promo single from the pretty great 1969 album by St. Steven on Probe Records. I own the reissue of the self-titled album. One of these days i will track down an OG copy, but the prices these days are a bit more than my pocket can handle at the moment. Anyone holding and wants to part at a "bro price" let me know! For now, this OG 45 will have to hold me over. Great fuzz guitar.
Some pre ELO psych rock from 1969 from The Move. Just found this recently on the cheap. It's a nice little pop psych nugget. Nothing really rare but a good tune. Actually sounds a bit earlier than 1969. If you don't know the history of the move check out the The Move WIKI link. It's quite extensive. Now back to my coffee....
Cool rockin' R&B instrumental from 1961 on the Glow-Hill Records label. Don't know shit about old D.D. (Foots) Ford but a quick search of the nets sees this 45 getting lots of action. I got nothing else..... Oh yeah, I've combined the sides for your listening pleasure, because, well, we all need all the bounce we can get.
Ed Pauling And The Exciters from 1965 w/ a great swinging blues/soul instrumental with some killer guitar work on the great Savoy Records label. The horns keep it pumping and we get a little bass solo action w/ some answering guitar. Neat. The tune ends rather abruptly and i'd have liked it to jam on for a bit more but whats there is pretty excellent. jam on it.
