Crystal Soft Synth

Crystal is a semi-modular software synthesizer featuring both subtractive synthesis and frequency modulation (FM) synthesis. It offers abundant modulation control with over 90 parameters which may be modulated, multi-stage envelopes with graphical editors, extensive tempo sync of envelopes/lforates/delay times, built-in effects for chorus/flanging/comb filtering/echoes, and a band splitter for effects processing by frequency band. Not only that, Crystal has wave sequencing, granular synthesis, program morphing, MIDI learn, and imports soundfonts. The musical applications for Crystal are literally boundless.

Cygnus-SF

Cygnus was originally a collaboration between synth designer Ian Webster and sound designer Tim Conrardy. Now, spurred on by an off the cuff suggestion by Gearwire's own Dan Agosto, Ian has taken his classic free VST and given it new life by adding 3 new sampling oscillators that accept the sf2 format. The integrated mix controls allow you to crossfade between each of the standard oscillators and the soundfont playback ones discreetly. All of the soundfont players have individual control over level, mix, and pitch. Finally, everything is summed into the Cygnus effects line.

Karnage

This synth is designed to make hard and nasty lead and bass sounds but can do a lot more besides.
Previously developed with Kriminal, and at one time featured in Computer Music Magazine. Karnage is now Hosted for the first time on the Krakli website. To celebrate this event it has now been updated to version 1.7 with added Oscillator-Sync, extra detune amounts on Oscs 1 & 2 and a unique new feature called the D-Gate which allows creative use of a special MultiTap delay.

KXOMNI-600

Each Layer (the plugin is stereo) is composed of two oscillators: a "Phase Distortion Oscillator" (Pdo) and an "Oscillator" (Osc), the oscillator signal is filtered by a "Multimode Filter", a "Distortion" and a "Feedback". All the modulations are controlled by an envelope generator, the velocity and the keyboard. Then the sound (4 oscillators+2 filters...) is filtered by a stereo VCF (undoubtedly one of the most complete vcf avaliable in freeware) and a VCA. All the modulations of the oscillators can be modulated by a double LFO.

Miffi

Miffi employs a variant of DSF synthesis which uses complex number arithmetic to generate comb filtered stereo signals. By morphing between two DSF parameter sets, Miffi is capable of synthesizing a wide variety of sounds and effects.

Mod Almighty

mod almighty is a 3 Osc synth with 6 LFOs for modulation overload. It also has a state variable filter and ADSR envelope per oscillator.

Each of the 6 LFOs control a parameter for all 3 oscs, but each osc can have it's upper and lower limit set differently. Each osc also has it's own volume envelope and it's own filter that can also be modulated.

Motion

The basic idea behind this synth, as it's name suggests, is to offer a wide variety of ways to create automated motion of the synth's sound. This is achieved by the use of 4 envelopes, 8 LFOs, three 16 step CV sequencers, and a filtered delay module...all of which can sync to your host's midi clock.

NEOkILLER

NEOkILLER X2 builds on the great features and sounds of previous incarnations of NOVAkILL's favourite little killer. Neumixturtrautonium

Note: this is donationware.
The Neumixturtrautonium makes Oskar Sala's Subharmonic Synthesis, which makes sounds that are sometimes perceived as notes and sometimes as chords and sometimes somewhere in between, available in a VST form for the first time. In conjunction with good controllers and performance, it emulates many of the features of the Mixturtrautonium.

Noisie

Noisie is a simple 3 oscillator synth.All 3 oscillators have a shaper and a clipper.These are distortion effects.You can distort the oscillators so much that it becomes almost a Noise .Thats why it`s called Noisie
Theres a simple Modulation oscillator that can modulate the 3 oscillators with FM/PM and PW.But also for the cutoff/AM and ringmodulation.
It has 2 Filters with envelopes and there own BPM lfo.Before the filter is an other shaper (p.shape)
If you want even more noise just use the Noise /Sub oscillator.Thers a pitch envelope i use for kick/bass mix sounds.
Noisie has also a some effects like a chorus/phaser/delay/distortion and a gater + of course 128 presets!!

There are 2 versions of this synth a 3 note poly and one 6 poly.
SO if you have a old PC just use the 3 poly.It uses much less cpu

Padawan

padawan is a hybrid synthesizer inteded for pad and ambient sound creation. the first oscialltor is analog style, while the second is based on wavetables. there are some nice modulation options, all synced to host tempo. for effects there is a nice stereo chorus and a simple reverb.

Pippo

Some interesting synthesized string type sounds. pippo is a unique synth based on an array of self-oscillating delay units controlled via a very simple interface. the resulting sounds vary from toy piano to plucked strings, and even some bell-like tones. it will detune a bit a the high & low ends of the scales due to the math used in the tuning curve. version 1.1 adds a nice filter option.
