Last week we got to celebrate something pretty special: Alex Curran was shortlisted for UK Tech's Businesswoman of the Year.   She didn’t walk away with the trophy – but honestly, being recognised alongside such an impressive group says everything. And we couldn’t be prouder.   Shout-out to her fellow nominees Claire Milverton, Dr Janet Bastiman, Erin Platts, Irina Hemmers, Vicki Rishbeth who are all disrupting the UK tech scene and should be closely followed. And a big congratulations to Eleanor Lightbody for taking home the award – incredibly well deserved.   If you’ve met Alex, you know why this matters. She’s the kind of person who makes hard problems feel solvable – the type who asks “why are we still waiting for real-time financial intelligence?” and then helps build the thing that fixes it.
