Squad up, then switch up who you control. In FRAG Pro Shooter, you pick a deck of five characters and head into a colourful arena where the goal is simple: destroy your enemy’s bunker before they destroy yours. Your four teammates run their own routes, controlled by AI, while you dash, aim and unleash special moves. When your character goes down, you jump straight into the next – no downtime, just a fresh set of abilities and a different way back into the fight.

What we love: How much game is packed into two onscreen controls! Each character plays completely differently. Dr Frost, for example, slows the opposition with his icy presence, Long Shot picks off targets from extraordinary range and light units dart between cover to flank from unexpected angles. You could hop between a sniper, a frontliner and a defender all in a single round.

Quick tip: Think about roles before you finalise your deck. FRAG characters fall into categories – Attack, Defense, Camp and Center – and a team stacked with Attackers could leave your bunker exposed. Have at least one Defender holding the line and a Camp character covering the high ground to ensure your AI teammates are working with you rather than charging headlong into trouble.
