I'm just shocked by the current cap cut. The app has fallen so much that there is simply no worse place. Yes, projects can be done, but it's impossible because of advertising. As soon as I click "export", the advertisement is immediately displayed for half a minute. It's just horrible. Okay, it's not difficult for me to wait, but then, when the commercial ends, an arrow appears to go back to the cap cut. But for some reason, when I press this arrow, it just doesn't work. 🤷‍♀️I've already restarted and exported several times, but it's still the same. And I'm not just talking about this, but about all the advertising. It's impossible. It turns on almost every minute. After the commercial, if it turns off, God forbid, the cap cut offers me to send a review of it. But it's all the same, I click on the "too many ads" button and still nothing works. Previously, there was no advertising at all. I hope the developers will see my feedback and remove at least some advertising. 😐

So basically they call themselves "free editing app" which is total bs. Everything has became "pro" and there are limited uses of some basic tools when you don't have "pro". For example you can only export sound from a video on your device like 3 times a month or export your video with no watermarks 3 times a month aswell i think. Every useful effect is "pro" now like strobe, black & white, sliding in different directions, explosion or pulses. You think you can create your own effects by adding your own pictures onto the video and? YOU CAN'T BECAUSE IT SAYS YOU HAVE NO PICTURES AND VIDEOS ON YOUR DEVICE SO YOU HAVE TO USE SOME LIBRARY WHERE EVEN PLAIN WHITE BACKGROUND IS "PRO". By the way another reason why you simply can't make any videos (mainly edits) is even custom speed is "pro". After you've made your edit with no effects, no custom speed and no sound, you can only export your abomination in 720p because full HD is "pro"... Lately they made an interesting update - THEY CAN STEAL YOUR EVERY VIDEO THAT YOU PUT INTO THIS APP OR MADR IN THIS APP AND USE IT WHERE THEY WANT AND WHEN IT GETS COPYRIGHTED - ITS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AND YOU'RE THE ONE THAT HAS TO DEAL WITH THE OWNER OF USED COPYRIGHTED ASSETS... I just uninstalled this app and the fun fact is that everytime I wanted to make any video I had to use different methods because everything I used before is "pro" now. Someone might say "just buy pro" like yeah im gonna spend 100 DOLLARS ON SOMR EDITING APP SO I CAN GET COPYRIGHTED BECAUSE COMPANY DECIDED IT WAS GOOD IDEA TO STEAL VIDEOS FROM PEOPLE. Im sorry if the price is not accurate because it just gets more expensive over time.

In short: Everything is paid, almost no features are for free now, even all the old free features are now paid. The app had a huge downfall and now it’s just a money making machine and not an editing app. 2 years ago it was 5/5 but now it’s 1/5 I was using capcut since 2020 and I recently had a break, for me it was the best editing app, easiest free to use with many many functions, then they added all the pro features and watermarks, I mean not bad they are allowed to get a watermark for free users and I don’t mind, when I opened CapCut recently just to edit short video just to sned to my friends, just add some transitions and effects, but what? I can’t, why? literally everything is “PRO” and every feature that was free is now pro and I can’t even add the stupid transition because all of them are paid, what has happened that the devs became so hungry for money, where is the old CapCut, I cannot even find any effects that are free neither transitions, that’s all I needed, I understand adding more features as pro but changing everything that was free to pro? It’d be better to make the app paid.

The app itself is very messy: With all the editing features just laying in some random place, more than half of them are Pro. For a person who makes edits, this one is the least messy apps for editing (it is less messy than the other apps but still..) You can't enjoy it anymore. You want to edit something, make it look cool, but you have to pay like 87zł (polish bucks)... And the only thing u can do (mostly) for free is use the templates, which is just you slapping texts and photos on something that is either 'a stolen template' or requiers Pro. I found a way to use the pro features for free though (doesn't work with templates) you can just use all the pro features you want and then screen record it but still... like make the 'CapCut Pro' thing affordable! The whole app truned from 'Fun and free, no need to p2w' to 'Pay to something with Pro that u wont even like'...and if someone wants to be rude for what i just typed here, be rude. i dont really care.
