About Me:
I work as a somatic-informed mental health coach, combining training in Clinical Psychology with ongoing Somatic Experiencing practitioner training. My focus is the mind-body relationship: how our individual experiences shape the things we think, the emotions we feel, and the way we act as a result of these!I support clients globally in building emotional awareness, executive functioning, relational clarity, and nervous system regulation, without pathologizing their experience. My approach is grounded, evidence-informed, and collaborative. I am interested in helping people understand themselves more clearly so they can make choices that align with their lives, have deeper insights about themselves and take action towards those choices!Alongside my practice, I research and advocate for better recognition of hypermobility-related disorders and invisible illness within healthcare systems, especially in India.I have lived experience with ADHD, hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, alexithymia, substance use and burnout.Fun facts about me:
I am a big fan of Hozier's music (among several other artists), and met him in person! I believe our taste in media can be a very useful medium for helping us understand and process our emotions.
I love diving and being in the ocean.
I read lots of books, and am always reading at least 3 books at the same time.
I journal for fun.
I think sunlight, nature and physical activity go a long way in improving our mental health.Qualifications:

I primarily rely on motivational interviewing in my work with clients by creating a safe yet challenging space where they can set specific goals, understand where these goals come from, and help define the path to achieve them. Throughout this process, I help in creating emotional awareness into the underlying mechanisms of the mind which may prevent someone from doing the things they want. I also offer external accountability such as body doubling during sessions, and practical evidence-based interventions. For clients looking for more unstructured support, I can offer ongoing emotional support and provide a deeply reflective space where they can bring up any topics they would like to explore.I offer a lot of adaptability in my work and tailor things according to the needs of specific clients. I use the stages of change model, along with the window of tolerance as reference points during my work and draw very deeply from humanistic-existential psychology, Internal Family Systems (IFS), principles of neuroscience and somatic experiencing, among other things, to help clients understand how their mind works.I think of the coaching journey as a place where the client and I work together as a team to truly understand how the client thinks, what makes them think this way and how to build a coherent sense of self. I basically help clients create a user manual for their brain, so they can understand when it malfunctions and how to work with it instead of smashing random buttons.Research Interests
I am deeply interested in studying mind-body interactions, the neuroscience of somatic work, how changes in emotions and factors like trauma affect the brain, the nervous system and in turn the body. I am very curious about the mechanisms behind understudied chronic conditions such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, lipedema etc as well, and would love to understand more about the multisystemic effects of these. I enjoy learning about the gut-brain axis, fascia, lymphatic system, psychoneuroimmunology, hormonal health, the human microbiome and the working of the autonomic nervous system!Fee structure:
