Who inspires your Open Education journey? Which Open Education Resources should be recognized for excellence? And what are the exceptional ways in which Open Education is implemented? <\/a>We seek to recognize as many as we can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2011 the Open Education Awards for Excellence (OEAwards) have highlighted 284<\/span> outstanding contributions<\/strong> from the Open Education community and shared hundreds more that were nominated, honoring exemplary people, distinctive Open Educational Resources, and compelling Open Practices from around the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s Happening?<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It’s a new season of OEAwards that begins with the planting the seeds of recognition with nominations from the global Open Education Community. For 2026 228<\/strong> seeds have been planted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nominations closed June 22 and are being prepared to send to the review committee. If you need a few more days time, please contact us at awards@oeglobal.org.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seeds you plant can grow into the awards celebration in September 2026. Note that all details of all nominations are shared publicly because the OEAwards are more about wide recognition than crowning winners.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
