The Logistics Business Development Specialist is responsible for expanding the clientele of the company, managing accounts, and maximizing incoming orders from managed clients.

Additionally, the specialist is responsible for analyzing operational performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

By collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging data-driven insights, the Accounts and Business Development Specialist is responsible for effectively managing financial processes, including daily closing, reconciliation, to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions and reporting.

Key Result Areas:

Maintaining a list of potential clients in various industries and approaching them with tailored delivery offerings.
Developing a business development plan which includes implementation strategies, expected outcomes, success factors, and potential risks.
Act as the main point-of-contact for assigned clients. This includes client onboarding, account management, addressing escalations/issues, system training, and monthly invoicing.
Managing multiple accounts and maximizing the number of incoming orders from assigned clients.
Generating a comprehensive daily report of orders received from assigned. This includes tracking and documenting order status, quantities, and any specific requirements or exceptions.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to logistics operations, including delivery performance, order fulfillment. Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Monitoring all deliveries completed each day, ensuring compliance with our client's requirements and SLAs. By scrutinizing delivery procedures and validating attached documentation, Identify and address any discrepancies or issues promptly
Improve delivery operations through a comprehensive action plan which covers meeting client objectives, fully utilizing available resources, and minimizing operational errors and SLA breaches
Verify and check the validity of canceled orders, ensuring accurate documentation and understanding the reasons for cancellation. Similarly, verify postponed orders and assess the validity of the reasons for postponement.
Manage the monthly closing process with the finance department. This includes providing necessary documentation and ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in logistics analysis, process improvement, and order journey.
Proven business development and business expansion skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and using relevant software tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of invoicing principles is a plus.

Pay: BD500.000 per month
