[ruby-core:28373] [Feature #1257](Rejected) Add Continuation#thread method

From: Yusuke Endoh <redmine@...>
Date: 2010-02-28 11:10:13 UTC
List: ruby-core #28373
Issue #1257 has been updated by Yusuke Endoh.

Status changed from Open to Rejected

Hi,

Be more careful when you use continuation. It is very dangerous
weapon.
Don't abuse continuation like you cannot understand which thread
the continutation is created on.

In addition, the API is arguable for me. I guess Continuation#
callable? is enough for your purpose.

Anyway, I reject this ticket because there is no activity in
about one year.
If anyone still think this feature is needed, please reopen with
explanation for more concrete situation where we cannot help but
use Continuation#thread.
