The engagement mainly focused on IT services and technical support. Their team assisted with system setup, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and improving overall reliability of our business operations. They also helped with software-related support and gave recommendations to improve workflow efficiency. Another thing we appreciated was that they explained technical issues in a simple and practical way, which made communication much easier for our non-technical staff. Throughout the process, they stayed available whenever urgent issues came up and handled them professionally.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The biggest improvement for us was reduced downtime and smoother internal operations. Before working with them, technical issues would sometimes slow down scheduling and communication with clients. After the improvements, our systems became more stable and our team was able to handle work more efficiently. We also noticed that response times for technical problems became much faster, which helped avoid unnecessary delays during busy periods.

• Regulatory compliance and correct data attribution is very important in the oil and gas industry. Our group was developing a bespoke Postgres CRM/FSM platform to a client who deals with fuel storage tank inspections, testing, and servicing. This is a piece of work that needs drawing of highly controlled information in government portals where accuracy, reliability, and scalability are not negotiable. We used to use data ingestion and extraction on an off-the-shelf low-code product. But that was not as transparent to debug, nor was it as scalable between states, and it was not cost effective in our application. This interaction with Afiops Technologies was to achieve the following objectives: Upgrade current scraping pipes with a new hardy, fault resistant and scalable application. Support better observability and reliability of continuous operations. Assess scalability of the new pipelines by including new integrations of states like Connecticut, Vermont and New Hampshire.

Afiops Technologies reconstructed our ingestion and scraping pipelines and deployed these pipelines on a new ground to accommodate oil and gas compliance processes. Their solution was written in Airflow and Python, allowing more easily transparency and monitoring and fault-tolerance.

Key deliverables included:

Creation of pipe-line systems that are lean and streamlined to retrieve and input controlled information to our CRM through government portals.

Greater visibility, which enables our team to monitor, debug and maintain the data pipelines much easier than previously.

Addition of new state portals (CT, VT, NH), testing the ability of the new solution to scale and withstand.

Streamlining to make it affordable when compared with the low-code product that we used before.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Afiops Technologies were effective in substituting our aging data ingestion with a data pipeline which is scalable, reliable and fault tolerant. Their solution greatly enhanced state consistency, minimized downtime and enhanced observability. Notably, we could timely increase state integrations, thus, providing new opportunities to clients in the future.

The management of the project was good. The Afiops team was timely, was able to communicate and adjust easily with the dynamics of the oil and gas regulation requirements. We were on schedule with our clients and this was enabled by their responsiveness and response to deadlines.

The most remarkable fact to us was the speed with which Afiops Technologies mastered the business and regulatory peculiarities of the oil and gas business. They could upgrade and substitute a complicated, mission-important answer virtually within a brief time, and guarantee conformity and expandability across the board.

I’m a technical product manager at Binyan Studios, an architectural visualization company. We create CGI images and animations for property developers and architects worldwide. We’ve recently broken into the digital experience space and have built products for sales galleries and sales tools.

We looked for an enterprise-grade partner because everything was far more complex than we were accustomed to.

Afiops Technologies has assisted us in creating software, creating user journeys and stories, and completely redesigning the product. We initially provided them with a copy of our business-level tool's code, but given the demands of the project, they felt it would be simpler to start from scratch.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The software is deemed successful by us. Our team uses it as one of our primary tools for company growth while attempting to secure any project that we are currently working on. Because we were able to complete this project, we were able to produce an additional $2 million worth of work beyond the scope of the project.

Things were more simpler and more seamless for us after Fingent joined. They are a fantastic crew that is always willing to assist. There is never a problem.

They’ve met their deadlines. The Saudi client has been volatile in their requirement standards, so we’ve gone over budget, but that’s not because of Fingent. They have their own custom project management tool, but we communicate predominantly via email.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We’re extremely impressed with their ability to work with the client without direct supervision. They have really proven themselves and earned a lot of trust.

The handover and final production delivery phases haven’t been as smooth, but I’m unsure if that’s because of them or the client. Even that clarity might be the only comment I can make about them. It wouldn’t diminish from a five-star rating for me, though. They’ve been fantastic.
