CloudEva Tech designed, developed, and continues to support SBV Talent, our end-to-end sports-industry talent platform. The scope included product strategy, UX/UI design, frontend and backend development, infrastructure, integrations, quality assurance, deployment, and ongoing optimization. Key deliverables included: A searchable job board with filtering, saved jobs, application tracking, personalized recommendations, and job alerts. Automated job sourcing, enrichment, review, scheduling, and publishing workflows. Candidate registration, authentication, profile management, preferences, and account communications. A sports-industry professional directory and supporting content experiences. An administrative portal for managing jobs, users, content, and platform operations. Integrations with Firebase, HubSpot, Beehiiv, Strapi, GA4, Sentry, and other supporting systems. Ongoing monitoring, maintenance, analytics, performance improvements, feature development, and roadmap support.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Strong user adoption: 20,000 users signed up in a single month, tracked in Firebase, a clear indicator of real demand and fast traction for the platform in its market.

Over a recent 14-day window (Sep 2–15), the platform served 7.9M frontend HTTP requests and 1.45M backend application/API requests, with no caching layer in front, showing the scale and reliability of the live infrastructure under real production load.

User activity stayed strong through the same period: analytics recorded roughly 5K to 40K page views per day on the live platform, reflecting an active, returning audience rather than a one-time launch spike.

Scraping pipeline runs cost-effectively across 11 job boards using serverless compute that scales with volume, not fixed infrastructure.

Hybrid semantic and full-text search (Qdrant + PostgreSQL) delivers relevant matches even for non-standard job titles. Clean, modern candidate-facing UI built with Next.js, Tailwind, and Shadcn/Radix components, reflecting a production-grade platform rather than an MVP.

CloudEva Tech has been highly responsive and collaborative throughout the engagement. We maintain a consistent working rhythm through weekly planning and demonstration calls, ongoing Slack communication, and a shared roadmap with clear priorities. The team responds quickly to feedback, addresses issues with urgency, and remains flexible as our product needs evolve. When timelines have needed to shift because of changing priorities or expanded scope, they have communicated openly and worked closely with us to maintain momentum.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stands out most is CloudEva Tech’s genuine sense of ownership. They operate as an extension of our team rather than a traditional outside development firm, taking the time to understand our business goals, users, and long-term vision. Azher and the broader team combine strong technical capabilities with responsiveness, flexibility, and a real personal investment in our success. That level of partnership and commitment is difficult to find. The engagement provides strong value by giving us access to a capable, multidisciplinary team across product, design, engineering, QA, and ongoing support.

Are there any areas for improvement or something CloudEva Tech could have done differently?

As the platform and scope have grown, the main opportunity has been creating even greater visibility into roadmap priorities, team capacity, dependencies, and potential timeline changes. More proactive communication around technical risks and tradeoffs earlier in the process would make planning even stronger. CloudEva has been receptive to this feedback, and we have already seen meaningful improvement as our working relationship has matured.

CloudEva Tech has built our mobile and web applications, including the backend infrastructure, database, and more. The team has also created our admin portal, employer admin portal, provider portal, mobile app for employees, and public website. In addition, they've handled UI/UX design, testing, and deployment.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

CloudEva Tech has helped us ship our MVP platform. It has taken us six months to go from an idea to a market-ready product.

How did CloudEva Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

They use a great project management approach. The team is organized with a preset operating playbook and communication methods, which has allowed us to quickly jump into the work and focus on the deliverables. CloudEva Tech has iterated quickly and delivered on time. We communicate through virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

CloudEva Tech is a strong communicator. They quickly and effectively understand our requirements and proactively bring suggestions. The team does a good job of bringing business and technical expertise. Moreover, they do a good job of seamlessly managing resources on their end.

Are there any areas they could improve?

One opportunity area is being more proactive when there are blockers on our side to quickly escalate them so they get removed in a timely manner.

What challenge were you trying to address with CloudEva Tech?

We were looking for a Supabase expert who had real hands-on experience with Loom, GitHub, and Vercel.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

CloudEva Tech helped us set up proper staging and production workflows with GitHub integration. The team cloned the Supabase development environment to create a new project for staging. They migrated the schema, policies, storage, and authentication from the development environment to the staging environment. CloudEva Tech deployed the frontend to the staging environment and connected the Loom staging site to the Supabase project. The team confirmed that all authentication and database flows worked with zero errors.

Once the staging environment was stable, CloudEva Tech cloned the staging environment to the production environment. They deployed the Loom frontend to the Vercel production domain and ensured that GitHub pull requests to the main branch automatically triggered staging to production updates. The team set up proper automation so the staging and production environments stayed in sync. They configured GitHub and Vercel so deployments were clean, tested, and controlled.

How did CloudEva Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated via WhatsApp. CloudEva Tech didn't deliver on time. The job was supposed to take nine hours, but it took over two weeks. The team encountered many code variations that they hadn't expected but still finished the job as per the brief at no extra cost.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by their reactivity and level of English.
