We needed a team who could take that concept and build it into something that actually worked, end to end.

Mind Studios built the Rebind platform from the ground up. That included the reading interface itself and an AI chat feature, so readers can ask questions and talk through the book with an AI version of the expert guide. They also built a mode that shows whether what you're seeing came from the real expert or was AI-generated, plus highlighting and note tools. On top of that, there are short video intros for each chapter and a feature that simplifies old-fashioned language in the classics, so it's easier to read. Mind Studios handled the backend, the AI integration, and the day-to-day decisions that come with building something this complex. Since launch, they've stayed on as our QA team too, testing new features as we keep adding to the product.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We launched a real, working AI reading platform, and it's kept growing since. It's been recognized by TIME as one of the Best Inventions of 2024 and by Fast Company as one of the Most Innovative Companies of 2025. For a small team building something this new, that kind of recognition meant a lot.

Our product direction changed a lot along the way, that's just how it goes when you're building something nobody's built before, and Mind Studios kept up with it. They stayed organized, hit their deadlines, and never made a change in scope feel like a big deal. Communication was always clear and easy.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We've worked with Mind Studios for a couple of years, first to build the platform and since then as our ongoing QA partner. What stands out most is their consistency. They show up, deliver on what they promise, and don't create unnecessary overhead. As a founder, that's incredibly valuable, you want a partner you can trust without having to micromanage them, and Mind Studios has been exactly that. I'd recommend them to any team looking for a credible partner that takes ownership and consistently delivers quality work.

Honestly, nothing major comes to mind. We've been really happy with how things have gone.

User growth is very difficuilt in any company. Numbers cannot be shared at this point in time, but impressive growth from MVP to several months later when product became more polished.

We are impressed with their transparency, hard work no mattertheir circumstances (e.g. working through a current war), and alwasys challgning the status quo.

They are quick to fix bugs. They could improve their estimation of scope - it is difficuilt and I know they have been getter better
