I am the Founder and Executive Director of Grid Capital Guernsey Limited, first worldwide online brokerage firm that allows its clietns wide range of investment products including securities dealing, cryptos, IPOs as well as cash management and structured products

For what projects/services did your company hire ROCKETECH, and what were your goals?

We decided to create a modern online trading application that would allow our clients to deal securities and cryptos on one unified platform and to manage their funds including international payments right from their brokerage accounts

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected Rocketech after a thorough and long review process of different firms all over the world from India to United States. The clue factor for us became their ability to provide us an access into the development process so that we could control and moderate it through the lifecycle of the project

We developed iOs and Web Applications at the same time. For the Web we used React as the newest technology.

One business analyst, one scrum master, two back-end developers, and two developers for each iOS and Web solutions.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Within six month we managed to deliver a ready-to-go product and integrate it into our systems. We keep on developing several modules after initial product release

Project manager keeps in contact with us 24/7 delivering the results of the tasks and collecting feedback from us and our customers. Once in two weeks we have a full team gathering delivering to us the result of a certain completed scope of works.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

ROCKETECH specialists work as your dedicated team as if they are directly hired by your HR manager. During the lifecycle they are fully devoted to your project that leads to better understanding of the product and the product owner and better performance as a team itself.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is always a space for improvement but I can not recognize what could be done here :)

I'm the CEO of a company that offers a dating application based on zodiac signs.

What challenge were you trying to address with ROCKETECH?

We needed support developing our mobile app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

ROCKETECH was responsible for the app's technical development, and my company was responsible for its design. We provided the app's design, and ROCKETECH managed development. We worked in a dynamic way, and both teams provided feedback to each other. ROCKETECH developed the app from scratch for iOS and Android devices. I created the app account on the Google Play Store, and the team has finished developing the app and is working on resolving bugs and implementing changes.

We worked with six teammates from ROCKETECH, including the CEO, an account manager, a backend developer, a mobile device developer, and a frontend developer.

We've spent around $250,000 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with ROCKETECH a year ago, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

ROCKETECH has launched our app, which had around 5,000 downloads in the first month. Users are completing purchases within the app, and the launch has been a success, although it has still a long way to go. I'm satisfied with ROCKETECH's work quality. We work closely with the team in the development, providing feedback and the required guidelines. ROCKETECH has delivered a good-quality outcome, and the entire team does a great job. 

How did ROCKETECH perform from a project management standpoint?

ROCKETECH defined an initial budget that we exceeded; however, this was because the project required extra work we hadn't initially scoped out. The team gave us a base budget of $80,000 and built on top of that, and I was aware going over budget was possible. We communicate via email and Google Meet. We have two weekly meetings to define the scope and ensure we achieve goals. I usually meet with the CEO, who receives my feedback. 

We work with a team with medium-level experience. Our company has corrected several details, which is common in software development projects. 

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to highlight our account manager, who does a great job in managing the project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The team has made a few mistakes but corrected them based on my feedback. I can't point out anything that ROCKETECH needs to improve. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I suggest having frequent communication with ROCKETECH and attending meetings with the team. I also suggest being punctual with your payments because the team will complete the scope quicker. Communication depends on the client and product owners, I like to be part of the project's development to ensure the desired outcome and achieve a product our audience will like.

• After an unsuccessful interaction with the previous team, we were looking for a serious and reliable tech partner capable of taking on an innovative R&D project. The first try resulted in financial losses and didn’t bring any outcomes — neither a working model nor code. Our product is a breakthrough web tool that, based on a dataset collected from medical institutions, generates disease patterns and determines a diagnosis.

I'm a business principal. I have been in IT for more than 10 years. I have run and worked in many startups. Because of our bad experience working with the previous team, we started to look for another team. I was in charge of replacing the previous team and talked with founders and investors. I’m working with investors and I was revising ROCKETECH's performance and results from the startup’s founder.

The Rocketech team started with a discovery sprint to analyze the existing data set and shape the strategy for building such a product. They initiated a recruiting process specifically for our project — our team was hired exclusively for us. They also conducted the process review a few times. 

While going from the pre-development to the development project stage, Rocketech built all the necessary processes and established development standards. Our main challenge is the breakthrough approach we needed to find to build our product. It’s a combination of 3 types of neural networks and computer vision technology.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After only 2.5 months, the Rocketech team managed to reach an accuracy level of 86%. They found a way to optimize and balance the project cost to achieve impressive results with limited resources. It’s an ongoing project, progressing steadily and successfully. Recently, we’ve engaged third-party experts to verify our research strategy. A mobile app is among near-future objectives.

They do it in stages. We start with a discovery sprint. The recruitment and pre-development processes are followed by the project’s kick-off. We got very big results in 2.5 months — a model which provided 86% accuracy. This is an R&D project and they are providing results every two weeks, we push them to give more transparency and they provide it with tools.

What is impressive is their transparency and flexibility in everything they provide.

In an ideal world, we would like to improve development speed. However, we also understand that it’s a first-in-class R&D project. There’s no sufficient scientific research available out there yet to incorporate it into our product development.

They started with us on the idea stage and constantly keep working with us and implementing new and new funcatilies. They analyze different systems like Camunda, Seldon, design BPMN process and making the code in Java.

Good and solid team. ROCKETECH diving very professionally in every case or scenario of our product and operate like there is no any outsourcing. It help us to build not only MVP but and fundraise and move far together The project is released and we are generating new features and making new iterations

We had a release every two weeks sprint. Some small iterations that guide us from one small MVP to an other. It’s very hard to establish that well and ROCKETECH is doing quite great and very consistent

They provided interesting ideas and made the right decisions. We constantly changed our priorities and scope and design. ROCKETECH very adoptable in terms of funding balance between business side and tech side.
