I’m the VP of solutions for MadDog Technologies, a venture operator and consulting firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with AI Software LLC?

We offer some building services to our clients, and AI Software LLC supplements those efforts.

What was the scope of their involvement?

One of the projects that AI Software LLC involved a platform that helps political organizations organize volunteers around which voters to target, whether a polling location is set up, who shows up, and other key bits of information.

AI Software LLC brought the technical resources to make this platform happen. They started by understanding the requirements and business outcomes. They then provided the full gamut of services necessary to build a platform, including creating the infrastructure, operating the platform, and testing it. 

Piyush (CEO, AI Software LLC) is very hands-on; he makes sure we get the right resources and fills any skill gap we might experience. They’re flexible to whatever needs we have at a given time. We depend on AI Software LLC to drive the outcome for these kinds of projects. 

What is the team composition?

We work with a team of 5–6 at any given time. That team usually comprises business analysts, technical architects, developers, testers, and other technical people.

How much have you invested with them?

We plan to spend about $800,000 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in July 2018, and the partnership is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We measure each project based on whether we deliver to the budget, quality, and timeline that we expected. So long as AI Software LLC understood what we were doing and delivered the required outcome against the estimated budget and deadlines, the project was a success.

How did AI Software LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Their resourcefulness and flexibility have been key. They’re ultimately responsible for keeping to the schedule that we outline, and they manage their own team’s progress daily. Either Piyush takes that role or delegates it to key resources.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve worked with a lot of external providers. What stands out about AI Software LLC is the technical breadth and depth they bring as a small organization. Combined with their adaptability and reasonable prices, they can fill our gaps on an as-needed basis. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I haven’t experienced anything that I think they could have done better. We’ve put them in some tough situations, and they’ve exceeded our expectations. They’ve been so accommodating to the ups and downs of our projects.

Any advice for potential customers?

Make sure you’re matching your company and its culture to what AI Software LLC can bring. They don’t have a large team, but they can play a key role as a trusted technology partner.
