I have worked with Upcodo a number of times on a number of different projects for web application development, and they always go above and beyond to provide the highest quality project management and web development services. The first engagement I worked with them on was a web application for a scheduling platform built in React and Laravel and was deployed. Upcodo supported the project from the initial concept to deployment and continued to support the ongoing maintenance. I continue to work with Upcodo on new projects and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Upcodo was able to provide a functional MVP with minimal errors or bugs and continues to support the MVP and beyond during the production deployment as we scale the organization, their ongoing support, reliability, and availability are second to none.

If there was any room for improvement, it would only be that UpCodo needs to scale and grow to be able to support the entire internet. Their entire organization should be a model for other employees and collaborators. I look forward to continuing my relationship with UpCodo and working with them in the future.

Web Panel for Agents

• Login & Task Selection:
   Agents can log in to the web panel and view a list of tasks that require photo uploads. They can select specific tasks to begin uploading photos.
• Photo Uploading:
   Once a task is selected, the system prompts the agent to upload photos. Multiple photos can be uploaded at once.
   The system uploads each photo sequentially to the cloud and displays the progress of each file.
   If any photo fails to upload, the system notifies the agent and requests re-uploading of the failed files.
• Validation & Submission:
   After uploading, agents can click the Final Submit button. The system then checks the metadata of each photo.
   If any photo fails validation, an error is generated, and the agent is asked to re-upload the rejected photos.
   Agents can choose to Force Submit the task - in such cases, only the photos successfully uploaded will be counted toward the task record.
• File Handling & SFTP Transfer:
   After successful upload, the system automatically creates a ZIP file of all uploaded photos and sends it to a destination SFTP server.
   The SFTP server then automatically extracts the ZIP file, creating folders for each upload.
  Task Validation in Admin Panel:
   A task cannot be approved by the admin until:All required photos are uploaded.
  The corresponding folder is successfully created on the SFTP server.
  Once both conditions are met, the task will show two green tick marks, indicating readiness for admin approval.
   
  
  Mobile App for Agents
• View completed route maps.
• Track kilometers traveled.
• View and download invoices.
• Check invoice payment status (Paid/Unpaid).

Admin Panel

• Manage Agents
• Admin can add and manage agents.
• Only registered agents can log in.
• When adding a new agent, the admin inputs the agent’s details, device ID, and web panel credentials.
• Upon addition, agents receive a welcome email with the app download link and login credentials.
• During the first login, agents must change their password.

Task Data Log

• The system automatically creates a folder for each agent.
• All tasks submitted by the agent are stored in their respective folders.
• Admin can change a task’s status (e.g., from Pending to Approved).
• Tasks are categorized into:Manually Submitted Tasks: Tasks submitted directly by agents.
• Auto-Submitted Tasks: Tasks automatically created when an agent starts and stops the tracker, then completes the remaining information before submission.

Billing

• Admin can view weekly or monthly invoices for each agent, based on the number of approved tasks.
• Payments are made offline, after which the admin can mark invoices as PAID.
  Once an invoice is marked paid, all related tasks automatically update their invoice status to Paid.

• Admin can generate various reports, such as: 
  • Total tasks completed per agent.
  • Kilometers traveled.
  • Amounts paid to agents.
  • Permissions
  • Admin can create Sub-Admins and assign specific permissions to access different sections of the system.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After developing the web and mobile applications for workforce management, our operations have become significantly more efficient.
 The system enables:

Streamlined task management and clear reporting of work completed by field agents.
Simplified route management, allowing agents to plan and track their field activities effectively.
Efficient data collection and centralized storage.
Seamless photo management, including secure transfer of agent-captured photos to the company server.
Overall, this application has greatly optimized our workflow and reduced the hours previously spent on managing field operations.

 Its seamless payment processing system enabled steady revenue generation, allowing the project to become self-sustaining within six months of launch.
