Zazz created native applications for Android and iOS. The app's design and development proposal was based on the market and user research they conducted through interviews at the beginning of the project. They created the app's flows, user personas, and user journeys using Figma, and built the UI/UX. 

We made the decision to proceed with them on the app's development once they finished the design stage. Zazz collaborated with our technical team to create the Android app with Kotling and the iOS app with Swift.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Zazz fulfilled my needs, and our teams collaborated flawlessly. Early on, we were able to observe what they was working on by gaining access to their GitHub repositories. Our engineering teams collaborated well and were a cohesive one.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

They finished the project by the expected date and stayed on budget. They used monday.com for project management, and our team had access to it, although we didn’t use it. I could check what they were working on on monday.com, but we predominantly used Slack.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The Zazz team impressed me the most. I wanted a staff that has a lot of experience working together. I've come across other contracting firms whose staff hasn't collaborated as much. It is evident in their work and workflow that the team has worked together for six years. A crucial component of our project's success was the designer's understanding of what could and could not be developed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Zazz could have done differently?

Nothing that Zazz could do better, in my opinion. Although I was concerned that we would have issues, everything worked out well and our connection was beneficial to all of us.

Zazz worked on the technical discovery of the LOMA application. The scope of work now is to design and develop the mobile and web application for LOMA solutions. We're currently in the design phase of the project.

The project management style was highly efficient and all the deliverables were made on time. All of our requirements were clearly understood and the sprints were planned to help us envision the roadmap of the project. The PM team was always available to connect and clarify any queries we had. We connected on regular Zoom calls and email communication was a constant.

I’m a product director at Matador, a gold trading platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with Zazz?

Our company buys, sells, and stores gold. We initially did all of this manually. We hired Zazz to help us digitize our processes and make our services more accessible to people.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired Zazz for a full-blown design, discovery, and development project. We started the engagement by describing our goals, after which we went through a discovery phase and discussed the process of our digital transformation.

Zazz then built the mobile app from scratch using React Native. It’s a digital platform where users can sign up and buy and sell gold. We’ve recently soft-launched the app's first version, and the reception has been great. We’re also planning on working with Zazz for the app’s second version and marketing.

We’ve worked with a technical project manager, a UX design lead, a UI/UX designer, a technical lead, a full-stack developer, a React Native developer, a business analyst, a QA specialist, a security engineer, and a Cloud architect from Zazz.

We’ve spent somewhere between $200,000–$250,000 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve only done an internal launch, so the app is not available to the public just yet. However, Zazz has solved all of the technical difficulties we were facing. They’ve met our expectations, and the app has definitely streamlined all of our processes.

How did Zazz perform from a project management standpoint?

Zazz has performed well in terms of project management. They communicate effectively, take all of our requirements and needs into account whenever we have our weekly meetings, and are highly receptive to our feedback.

We use Jira for project management, and we communicate through email and weekly Zoom meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with Zazz’ excellent project management and communication skills. We’re amazed by Zazz’ ability to bring our vision to life. It’s everything that we had hoped for.

I am the Senior Product Development Manager of Orbiton Company. Our business is based on developing psychometric software. Our main objective is the development of innovative software apps that are required by different companies. Online tests are conducted through our software comprising around 15 minutes.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Their work has impressed us incredibly as we are working with them for more than five years and haven't encountered a single bug since then. Our uptime percentage has improved tremendously, which has made our clients very happy. There are no complaints from our clients about the bugs or crashes, and we haven't required any maintenance after partnering with Zazz.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The workflow was handy as it helped us in sharing our issues and their suggestions instantly. We have used emails and social media platforms for interaction. Moreover, bi-monthly meetings were also an essential part of the whole project to test the new developments.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their young and energetic staff is the most critical factor for us. Zazz always comes up with smart solutions for our problems and tries to solve them in less time.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They are working in a highly protocoled manner, and I suggest them to work with the same passion. We have decided to continue our work with them in the future as the whole journey was smooth and without any trouble.

I am the Co-founder and CMO of AIM, which introduced the carpool platform for South Africa. We are planning to launch a kind of social networking app that connects people who are traveling to the same destination and at the same time. People can connect and communicate with each other to reach their destination.

We have planned to launch a platform where people can connect with each other and plan their drive. We hired zazz to build a carpool platform that includes a website, Android and iOS apps, and admin panel.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I found zazz over the Internet as one of the top reputed app development service providers. I have reviewed their website and found many case studies for on-demand services. I have asked my team to check and shortlist the final vendor from all five vendors we selected for our tech needs. The cost and time frame given by zazz suits our budget and expectations to launch the platform, and we finalized them as our app development partner.

We discussed our idea business analyst team after NDA to finalize the scope of work for our idea. They discussed all requirements on call and suggested a few additional features that attract more audiences to the app. They prepared the doc with all functionalities and wireframes of the apps before signing the contract.

Our project was assigned to Mr. Peter, Senior Technical Project Manager of zazz, who curated the development strategy. As wireframes were ready, they started with UI/UX designs for the app. It takes almost a week to complete all screens and approved by our team.

Next, they worked on a prototype to understand the workflow. The team started working on the development stage just after finishing the prototype. They scheduled weekly calls with our team to share completed tasks and asked for feedback. In some cases, they also show a demo to our team on how the app works and perform all features in real-time to identify the issues and solve them.

Deliverables for our platform will be Android and iOS apps, a website, a web-based admin panel, and all design files and codes.

The project manager is the contact point for us to communicate all time during development. For an initial discussion, we communicated with the Technical Architect and the Business team. During the development stage, we have worked with 15 people including:

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

With the prototype of an app developed by zazz, we have raised good funding from investors. We are planning to launch the app this July and current development work is already going on as planned. They are working on final bug fixing tasks and are ready to deliver in the next 15 days.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project manager is very polite and well-experienced in the process of development. He reviewed the Scope of Work document first, then curated the development strategy and defined different milestones. He managed the whole team and checked for updates daily.

They used Atlassian project management tools to plan and manage all tasks for resources within hours. The project manager and team worked beyond our expectations, completed each task in the given timeline and delivered the app builds to test as planned.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We are impressed with the skills and knowledge of their developers. Some challenging tasks needed extra efforts, but their technical experts researched and created various algorithms to complete the tasks in a given timeline.

The project manager also not failed to impress us with his project management skills. He is always available to answer us and resolve any issue during development with his expertise.

We haven’t faced any conflict or delay in the timeline. We are happy to recommend zazz as a development partner for any tech requirements.
