Grateful to be one of the initiatives that CHESS Cyber-Security Excellence Hub helped set in motion! 🏃♂️➡️
🔐 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 On 17 September, researchers, companies and other cybersecurity stakeholders met in Velké Pavlovice for the 𝘀𝗶𝘅𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 CHESS Cyber-Security Excellence Hub 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁, organised by Brno University of Technology. The event was an opportunity to look back at what CHESS has achieved and to discuss how the cooperation developed within the project can continue. Participants shared project results, discussed new funding opportunities and future European projects, and explored possibilities for new partnerships and consortia. 🤝 With team members from the new Cybersecurity Certification and Assessment Tools (CCAT), QARC and SECURE-NET: Enhancing Cross-Sectoral Collaboration in Cybersecurity projects also joining the discussions, the event highlighted how experience and partnerships developed through CHESS are already feeding into new activities. Four years of collaboration have created strong links between academia, industry and the public sector in cybersecurity. The discussions in Velké Pavlovice showed how these connections can support further cooperation and new joint projects beyond CHESS. #Cybersecurity #CHESS #ResearchCollaboration #EuropeanProjects

CCAT is now part of CAITC! We’ve been looking forward to this, and we’re curious to see where this collaboration takes us! 🛣️ #CAITC #CyberAITrustCluster
🔐 ATHENA joins the CyberAI Trust Cluster (CAITC) We are excited to be part of the CyberAI Trust Cluster (CAITC), a collaborative European ecosystem bringing together six EU-funded projects working at the intersection of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and digital trust. Last Wednesday, 23 September, representatives from Cybersecurity Certification and Assessment Tools (CCAT), SecQDevOps Project, Perun, SECASSURED, Athena-Horizon and SHASAI came together for the cluster’s first joint meeting. 🤝 This first session was a great opportunity to get to know each other, introduce our projects and objectives, and explore the different areas where our work connects. Most importantly, it marked the starting point for future collaboration. By keeping an active dialogue between the six projects, CAITC can help us exchange knowledge and experiences, identify synergies, organise joint activities and amplify the impact of our results across the European cybersecurity community. For ATHENA, collaboration with related European initiatives is an important part of our approach as we work to strengthen software and hardware security through secure engineering, continuous vulnerability assessment and innovative AI-based security services. ATHENA PROPOSAL 🚀 We look forward to working closely with our fellow CAITC projects and turning this first meeting into many opportunities for cooperation! Stay tuned for more joint activities from the CyberAI Trust Cluster. #ATHENA #CAITC #CyberAITrustCluster #cybersecuriy #horizoneurope

Still more than a week to go! Have a look and share your thoughts with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) on their “Human-Centered Cybersecurity Guidelines and Resources Concept Paper” 📑 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eySPW7wC 📍 Deadline: 30 September
🔐 Stronger cybersecurity starts with people. NIST requests you weigh in on what that means to you. Technology alone can't solve cybersecurity challenges. The human element matters just as much. NIST just published a new blog post and concept paper on options for building guidelines and resources to help organizational cybersecurity programs put people at the center (aka Human-Centered Cybersecurity). We want to hear from you. Your feedback will directly help shape this work and ensure it reflects real-world needs and challenges. 📖 Read the blog: https://lnkd.in/edG9REQq As of 24 August Updated paper link: https://lnkd.in/e_t4J28X We're looking forward to hearing your thoughts! #Cybersecurity #HumanCenteredCybersecurity

Great recognition for Cybernetica, one of the #CCAT project partners, ranking 3rd among the most attractive employers for #IT students in Estonia 🔵 ⚫ ⚪
🎉 Cybernetica has been named the 3rd most attractive employer among IT students in Estonia. The ranking comes from Instar's 2026 survey on attractive employers, which evaluated 326 companies. Among IT students specifically, the top 5 most attractive employers in Estonia are: 1. Wise Europe Estonian branch 2. Pipedrive OÜ 3. Cybernetica AS 4. Bolt Technology OÜ 5. Nortal AS Speaking at the recognition event, Oliver Väärtnõu — CEO of Cybernetica and Chairman of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry — pointed out that as competition for great people intensifies, employer attractiveness matters more than ever for companies: "A great person is a competitive advantage for a company. They give us capabilities our competitors don't have, solve problems we couldn't solve before, and bring knowledge or experience that changes how we run our business." We're proud that the people, mission and culture at Cybernetica continue to resonate with Estonia's next generation of IT talent. Thank you to everyone on the team who makes that true, every day. #Cybernetica #AttractiveEmployer #ITtalent #EstonianTech #EmployerBranding

📆 Today is the day! As the #CRA reporting obligations come into effect on 11 September, our partner Tropic Square has prepared a useful overview of how the EU Cyber Resilience Act’s new categories for security chips and secure elements work. Read the article to find out more 👇 #HardwareSecurity #EmbeddedSecurity #Semiconductors
CRA reporting obligations start this Friday. The bigger date though is 11 December 2027, when conformity assessment, CE marking and technical documentation requirements apply. If your product cycle runs two years, the CRA affects the design you're working on now. In between sits a question a lot of teams are working through: “the Commission's implementing regulation put secure elements in the CRA's critical tier, so what does that mean if I have one inside my product?” We read the regulation and wrote up what it actually says when integrating critical components such as secure elements. We also address what you still have to assess when deciding to integrate security components under the new regulation. Read our article about CRA tiers here 👉https://lnkd.in/d_a3Y8Rp #CyberResilienceAct
