To foster research, study, development and innovation, we are making data available to suppliers and academia.
Below you will find a link to Open data where you can browse all available data sets.
We share, among others, Volve subsurface data, log data from the carbon capture and storage (CCS) project Northern Lights, Huldra Plant 3D models, data on cold-water corals on the Norwegian continental shelf, and marine mammal baseline from Johan Castberg. The available data sets may change over time and without notice.
Anyone can use the data hosted on the platform, and we see that the initiative is popular both with academia and with suppliers in the ecosystem. One of the key sited benefits is the ease of use and ability to experiment with the data without large amounts of paperwork and contracts.
Most of the datasets are hosted on the Equinor data platform, but some are hosted by other providers and the Equinor platform is used to provide the overview.
