Meet our new neighbors... us. We’ve acquired more than 23,000 square meters in Bönen, Germany, directly beside our existing Bönen DC1. The acquisition includes an 11,104-square-meter fully leased logistics facility and approximately 12,000 square meters of adjoining, zoned land.   At the moment we operate more than 640,000 square meters of logistics space in the Rhine-Ruhr region. Did you know that reusing 24,800 pallet positions can equate to 70% lower upfront capital investment? For Blitz Distribution GmbH, keeping the existing racking at its new 30,000 m² facility at Prologis Park Bremen DC4 meant having capital that didn’t have to go toward a completely new installation. Our Prologis Essentials team adapted what was already there around the customer’s requirements instead. It also shortened the warehouse readiness timeline by 10 weeks and avoided approximately 1,240 tonnes of new steel and 2,500 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. So, next time you’re planning a warehouse move, it might be worth asking: What can we reuse? 

Through free, school-based sports and leadership programs, BAWSI - Bay Area Women's Sports Initiative helps girls from under-resourced neighborhoods and children with disabilities build confidence and leadership skills.     Last week, our Chief Administrative and Human Resources Officer, Nathaalie C. presented BAWSI with the Community Impact Award at the Bay Area Host Committee’s 2026 Impact Awards.     After working with BAHC around the FIFA World Cup, we continued that collaboration through the Community Impact Award, showcasing another side of sports in the Bay Area community.

We’ve acquired 69 acres in Illinois, which will soon be home to Minooka Exchange, a 1,002,000-square-foot Class A logistics facility.   We’re moving ahead with the development based on what we see in the location, particularly its access to major road and rail infrastructure, including the recently improved Ridge Road interchange and a new Canadian National intermodal facility under construction next door.   The amount of business in Illinois helps explain why we continue to see demand for more logistics space: in a single year, goods moving through our facilities supported $21.2 billion in state GDP.   Chicago remains one of our largest markets, with 341 properties totaling more than 79 million square feet.   Learn more in Crain's Chicago Business: https://lnkd.in/ews9YnqH

The first O'Donnell Moonshine Mason Jars were filled, labelled and packed by hand in a Berlin flat. Twelve years later, we're topping out its new unit within our new 17,000-square-metre site, which will become its home in Berlin-Weißensee. We marked the occasion together with August Ullrich, founder of O’Donnell Moonshine, and Severin Fischer, State Secretary in the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises. Bringing production, bottling, logistics and office operations together will allow O’Donnell to do more in-house and plan production more flexibly as its international business grows. O’Donnell wanted to stay close to its Berlin origins and choose a location employees could easily reach. That's where Berlin DC5 comes in. We're redeveloping a commercial site that has been part of the area for decades, with a new all-electric building that will use air-source heat pumps for heating and feature a rooftop solar installation. The surrounding neighbourhood also shaped the design. A landscaped green space will create more distance between the development and nearby homes, while the staggered layout of the buildings is designed to reduce operational noise reaching them. Walking, running or cycling 21 kilometres uphill is no small ask. For 42 Prologis colleagues, sponsors and guests, there was a very good reason to take it on: raising funds for personalised cancer research.    And they didn’t just hit their fundraising target. They blew the doors off it, raising more than €148,000.   Then, there was the climb! The team made their way up 1,533 metres to the top of Italy’s Stelvio Pass as part of Stelvio for Life 2026. Thank you to everyone who took on the climb, donated and helped the team reach the summit. We’re now developing a 271,828 SF build-to-suit warehouse and distribution facility for DTNA at Prologis Broadmoor. This project builds on our footprint in the Portland business community, where we operate 7.3 million square feet across the market. Our Community Workforce Initiative (CWI) can mean thousands of dollars more in earnings each year for a household.
