thyssenkrupp AG have mutually agreed with Jindal Steel Ltd. to pause discussions regarding a potential stake in thyssenkrupp Steel. The original assumptions for a potential sale have changed significantly in recent months. At the same time, we have made significant progress in realigning our #steel segment, while the regulatory environment in Europe has become more favorable. We see significant potential for value creation in our steel business and will continue the restructuring independently. The stated medium-term goal remains unchanged: establishing the independence of thyssenkrupp Steel Europe while we may retain a minority stake.
