The drawing process is the most critical step in stamping metal sheet parts. Parameters such as die radius, blankholder force, lubricant, ram stroke, speed, and blank geometry significantly impact the final product. Failures, specifically wrinkling in the flange region and fracturing at the front corner, often limit the success of the drawing process. This study uses the finite element method to simulate the drawing process and applies a random forest algorithm to predict the resulting thickness thinning for a given drawn part, ultimately investigating how the application of a servo press could improve these drawing results.
