Social robots are gaining attention in healthcare, yet their potential in pediatric care remains underexplored. Existing reviews have primarily focused on specific conditions or narrow applications. This systematic review is the first to comprehensively include studies on social robots in various pediatric contexts, The findings highlight the potential of social robots in pediatric care. However, the heterogeneity of study designs and outcomes limits generalizability, emphasizing the need for more robust and standardized research.
