DTC P0117
DTC P0117 Entrada baja del circuito del sensor ECT
El PCM monitorea la señal del sensor ECT en la terminal 2AK del PCM. Si el PCM
detecta el voltaje del sensor ECT por debajo de 0.2 V , el PCM determina el circuito
del sensor ECT tiene un mal funcionamiento.
Nota de soporte de diagnóstico
Este es un monitor continuo (sistema de velocidad del motor).
CONDICION
DE La MIL se ilumina si el PCM detecta la condición de mal funcionamiento anterior
DETECCION durante el primer ciclo de manejo.
El CÓDIGO PENDIENTE está disponible si el PCM detecta la condición de mal
funcionamiento anterior.
CONGELAR DATOS DEL MARCO está disponible.
El DTC se almacena en la memoria PCM.
Mal funcionamiento del sensor ECT
Conexión o mal funcionamiento del terminal
CAUSA Cortocircuito a masa en el mazo de cables entre el terminal A del sensor ECT y el
POSIBLE terminal 2AK del conector PCM
Cortocircuito cada circuito de señal ECT del arnés de cableado y circuito de tierra ECT

Procedimiento de diagnóstico
PASO INSPECCIÓN ACCIÓN
VERIFIQUE LOS DATOS DEL MARCO CONGELADO SE
1 HAN GRABADO Si Vaya al siguiente paso.
¿Se han grabado los DATOS DEL MARCO
CONGELADO? No Registre los DATOS DEL MARCO CONGELADO
en la orden de reparación, luego vaya al
siguiente paso.
VERIFICAR LA DISPONIBILIDAD DE INFORMACIÓN
2 RELACIONADA DE REPARACIÓN Si Realice la reparación o el diagnóstico de
acuerdo con la información de reparación
Verifique los boletines de servicio disponible.
relacionados y / o la disponibilidad de
información de reparación en línea. Si el vehículo no se repara, vaya
al siguiente paso.
¿Hay alguna información de reparación
relacionada disponible?
No Vaya al siguiente paso.
INSPECCIONE LA TERMINAL
3 Sí Repare o reemplace la terminal, luego vaya al
Apague el interruptor de encendido. Paso 7.
Desconecte el conector del sensor ECT.
No Vaya al siguiente paso.
Inspeccione la curvatura de los
terminales del sensor ECT A y B (parte
parcial).

¿Hay algún mal funcionamiento?
CLASIFICAR EL MAL FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL SENSOR ECT
4 4 O EL MAL FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL ARNÉS DE CABLEADO Sí Reemplace el sensor ECT, luego vaya al Paso 7.
Conecte el WDS o equivalente a DLC-2. (Consulte DESMONTAJE / INSTALACIÓN DEL
SENSOR DE TEMPERATURA DEL REFRIGERANTE
Acceso ECT PID. DEL MOTOR (ECT) .)
Verifique el valor de ECT al desconectar
el conector del sensor de ECT.
No Vaya al siguiente paso.
¿Cambia el valor de ECT?
INSPECCIONE EL CIRCUITO DE SEÑAL ECT PARA CORTO
5 5 A TIERRA Sí Repair or replace the wiring harness for short to
ground, then go to Step 7.
Apague el interruptor de encendido.
Inspeccione la continuidad entre el
terminal A del sensor ECT (lado del mazo
de cables) y la masa de la carrocería. No Go to the next step.
¿Hay continuidad?
INSPECT IAT CIRCUIT FOR SHORT WIRING HARNESSES
6 YesRepair or replace the wiring harness for short,
Inspect for continuity between ECT then go to the next step.
sensor terminal A and B (wiring harness-
side).
No Go to the next step.
Is there continuity?
VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P0117 COMPLETED
7 YesReplace the PCM, then go to the next step.
Make sure to reconnect all disconnected
connectors. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
Clear the DTC from the PCM memory
using the WDS or equivalent.
Start the engine. No Go to the next step.
Is the same DTC present?
VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE
8 YesGo to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
Perform the “AFTER REPAIR
PROCEDURE”. (See DTC TABLE.)
(See AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE.)
No Troubleshooting completed.
Are any DTC present?
