Bug 10894

I'm trying to incorporate a GPL project called Sesame into a project
I am working on [1]. Sesame uses wildcard imports in many of its
classes and I'm trying to persuade the developers to use explicit
import statements upstream [2]. They're not very receptive, partly
because they see it as a fundamental GCJ compatibility bug.
Furthermore, nothing (much) has happened since it was first reported
in 2003.
Is there any chance of raising the priority of this bug so that it's
fixed soon? If GCJ Bugzilla allowed voting, this would have all my
votes ;-) Anything I can do to help, please let me know. I can't do
GCJ hacking, but I can do Java work.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Phil
