While waiting for Francois to provide feedback I think you can safely 
assume that when _Hashtable_ebo_helper has a _Tp as data member it's 
public, not private. Thus (temporarily) tweak the library this way if 
you are committing front-end changes. Unless you need more invasive 
changes beyond that?!?
