Describe the bug

In the settings window, with the Typewriter dark theme.
The contrast is too low between the light gray text on the light green background of:

  • the focused category in the left panel
  • some buttons in the right panel.

For example:
In the left panel, the category:
Appearance

In the right panel, the buttons:

  • Manage
  • Check for updates

In the community plugins section, with the Excalidraw plugin installed and selected.
In addition to the too low contrast, light gray text on the light green background.
The dark red text is unreadable against the dark gray background on the buttons:

  • Disable
  • Uninstall

To Reproduce

  1. With the Typewriter theme installed
  2. Go to Settings
  3. In the left panel, click on: Appearance
  4. Make sure that the Base color scheme is set to: Dark
  5. ISSUE: See the low contrast light gray text on the light gray background
  6. In the left panel, click on: Community plugins
  7. With a plugin installed, for example: Excalidraw
  8. In the right panel, under Installed plugins
  9. Click on Excalidraw
  10. ISSUE: See the unreadable dark red text on the dark gray background.

Suggestions/Workarounds

The following contrast finder page, shows that the contrast is only:

At the top of the contrast finder page, it says:

WCAG success criteria 1.4.3 requires text to have a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5 (and 3 for large text).

(WCAG = Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)

Scroll down on the contrast finder pages for some suggested higher contrast colors.
