📑 CS-255-J7564-portfolio 📕

Q: Briefly summarize the DriverPass project. Who was the client? What type of system did they want you to design?

A: DriverPass is a program that helps teens prepare for their driver's test. Currently, no online tools aid in teens passing as there is a 65% fail rate with teens attempting to pass their driving test.

Q: What did you do particularly well?

A: Working with flow charts as it gave visuals onto what needed to be implemented.

Q: If you could choose one part of your work on these documents to revise, what would you pick? How would you improve it?

A: The thing I would revise would be my UML sequence diagram as I believe it was lackluster and there is plenty of room for improvement.

Q: How did you interpret the user’s needs and implement them into your system design? Why is it so important to consider the user’s needs when designing?

A: The user's needs are fundamental as it is what they want in the program. With that being said, the user needs help with how the system will be designed and what is needed to get the program running.

Q: How do you approach designing software? What techniques or strategies would you use in the future to analyze and design a system?

A: I look for use cases for real-world problems and how I can solve them. This course has taught me that I can diagram my use cases to give a visual representation of what I am trying to accomplish.
