Prevent tooltip content from going outside the screen

In some cases, where there is a lot of data to display, and on smaller screens, tooltip go out of viewport bounds and are trimmed.

We want to improve the layout of tooltips such that all the information is always visible. And it all the information does not fit, we need to gracefully truncate the content (starting with the least important), e.g. with ellipsis, or by removing sections.

Why not have the tooltip scroll on shorter displays? Or perhaps have arrows on either side of the vertical axis to allow scrolling by clicking them?

@asharonbaltazar Could work, but user experience will probably still not be great. Tooltips appear on mouse hover, and disappear when you try to move the mouse. In fact, sometimes they disappear and sometime they don't, for unknown reasons.

I'm unable to reproduce the aforementioned issue. The tooltips remain open if you hover over them and don't leave the tooltip's table row. Only the ones that appear below the row refuse to remain open.

The issue is only apparent when you slowly move the mouse over to the tooltip, and in the process, hover over another row element, which closes the tooltip. This could be probably be remedied by closing that gap between the row and tooltip.

Edit: Also perhaps expanding an invisible area with padding around the tooltip is an idea...
