I am submitting my faculty card and letter confirming by status but its getting rejected. How do I verify my faculty status?

Hi! If your faculty card and confirmation letter are getting rejected, make sure the documents clearly show:

• Your full name
• Your faculty/teacher status
• The institution name
• A current or valid date
• A clear photo or scan with no blurry/cropped parts

Also, try uploading official documents from your school email account if possible. If the system still rejects them, contact GitHub Education support and explain that you are verifying faculty status, then attach the clearest proof you have.

How do I contact github education team?

You can contact them through the GitHub Support portal.

Go to GitHub Support, choose Education, then select the option related to teacher/educator verification. In your message, explain that your faculty card and confirmation letter were rejected and ask for a manual review.

Also attach the clearest proof you have, such as your faculty card, confirmation letter, school email, and any document showing your name, institution name, and current teacher/faculty status.
