In some use cases it is desirable to open a Popover at the current cursor position rather than relative to the target element.

A corresponding request for Tooltip already exists: #6474

Positioning option called something like at-cursor or at-pointer.

Similar to my comment on the issue for the tooltip, there are things I need in the Flow-Component counterpart:

• API for opening it at a specific coordinate
• API for adding a CloseActionListener

Same question here, as in the corresponding issue for tooltip: what use case does this solve?

My use case is the same, I have a raw canvas / image, and I need to open Popover at a coordinate (relative to where the mouse was clicked), to show some contents / controls, similar to the very first example in the Popover documentation:
