Who are we?
Hypixel is an international games company that collaborates with team members all over the world who share a passion for games and a dedication to the players. We’re looking for those ready to join a friendly, hardworking, and results-oriented team!
Starting from redstone adventure maps, Hypixel has grown into the biggest Java Minecraft server around with hundreds of thousands of players joining to play every day. Our server has a game for everyone, from the competitive Bed Wars to the fantastical world of SkyBlock, so we know you’ll never get bored working with us.
We currently have a team of over 60 people - some who are new to the gaming industry and others who are veterans. With this group, we cover roles from all over the field of game development like World Building, Design, Programming, Production, and more. Three key qualities we look for in our applicants are:

Some Tips Before Applying
Show us your work! Whether it be YouTube videos, screenshots, websites, or your GitHub, all relevant experiences can only make you look better. Please keep in mind that if you do share code with us, we will not compile or run any of the examples in the initial review of applications.
Think of an application like an elevator pitch for yourself, keep it short, snappy, and provide the wow factor up front! An example of a bad application is where you say “contact me if you’d like to see examples of my work.”

Current Job Openings
Anti-Cheat Developer - Minecraft Project
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience with Java
- Demonstrable experience working on / patching Anti-Cheat for Minecraft Servers
- Deep understanding of CraftBukkit/Spigot, as well as Minecraft Versions, server and client behavior.
- Skilled in NMS development and working with packets

Video Producer
Desired Traits:
- Understanding of the Hypixel community
- Great understanding of social media platforms like YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Ensure content is compelling, the highest-quality, follows the brand’s voice, and is aligned with the brand’s style
- Knowledge in production techniques including videography, compression, and file delivery.

Moderator
Responsibilities:
- Handle reports submitted by our players
- Moderate Hypixel related community platforms, including the forums and Discord
- Work on continuously improving internal systems to provide a better player experience
Qualifications:
- Good understanding of Hypixel Network and Hytale
- Previous experience handling players using third-party modifications to gain an unfair advantage
- Previous experience handling moderation on platforms like Discord
- Able to work on weekends
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team when needed

Data-Driven Anticheat Developer - Minecraft Project
Responsibilities:
- Analyze large volumes of gameplay and network data to identify suspicious behavior and potential cheating trends
- Design and implement tools to detect bots, macros, and other forms of automated behavior
- Use statistical techniques and machine learning models to find behavioral outliers
- Develop dashboards, reports, or metrics that help visualize risk and behavioral trends
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in data analysis with experience cleaning, visualizing, and interpreting complex data sets
- Solid foundation in machine learning
- Understanding of bot behavior, cheat patterns, and game abuse strategies
