Graduation Dinner Party 2026
The season of goodbyes began on 11th April 2026 at the institute's auditorium, where more than 2,000 students and 300 faculty members gathered for the Graduation Dinner Party — a formal farewell that felt more personal than a ceremony.

Organised as a collective send-off for the graduating batch, the event began inside the auditorium, where the Director, Dean, and Vice President of the institute addressed the students.

The evening that followed was a chance to pause, look back, and truly celebrate what had been built over years on this campus.

The Class of 2026 was also formally recognised as alumni. The students are now ready for the world!

Graduation Ball
On 21st April 2026, the Student Alumni Interaction Linkage (SAIL) Cell organised a formal ball at the New SAC, second floor, drawing over 300 students for a memorable celebration of their journey at the institute.

The décor and overall ambience of the venue was anchored by the theme "Enchanted Evening".

It was an evening of elegance, music, and friendship.

Finalis Rèsonarè
Three days later, SAIL brought the farewell season to a close with an expressive event yet. On 24th April 2026, over 400 students gathered at the Main Auditorium for Finalis Rèsonarè — a name that translates, fittingly, to a final resonance.

Where the ball had offered elegance, Finalis Rèsonarè offered a stage. The event served as a platform for students to express themselves and showcase their talents before concluding their journey at the institute.

Curated to reflect the creativity, individuality, and spirit of the batch, the evening brought students together for performances, recognition, and shared experiences — a final opportunity to celebrate their time at IIT Guwahati and create lasting memories with their peers.
