IIT Guwahati Director Meets Alumni Across the US

During his visit to the United States in April 2026, Prof Devendra Jalihal, Director, IIT Guwahati, met with alumni in four cities — New Jersey, Boston, San Diego, and Cupertino.

The gatherings held in New Jersey on April 18 was hosted by Mohit Bansal (BTech, ECE, 1999)

On April 21, the Director met alumni in San Diego in an event organised by Ashish Basireddy (BTech, ECE, 2008),  

Kiran Kumar Thota (BTech, CSE, 2000) organised a meet-and-greet in Cupertino on April 24–25.  

The Director also met Jaspreet Singh (BTech, CSE, 2004), Founder and CEO of Druva, alongside Kiran Kumar Thota. 

Jaspreet Singh was recently awarded IIT Guwahati's Distinguished Alumni Award for his exceptional contributions to entrepreneurship and global technological innovation.
