 Celebrating the International Day of Play & the Opening of a New School Year! Today, on the International Day of Play, we are delighted to celebrate not only the power of play in children’s learning and development, but also the official opening of our Lower Primary Section for the 2026–2027 academic year. This week, we proudly welcomed families, students, and community members as we opened our Playschool through Grade 4 classes. Parents joined us for a special gathering, where students and teachers were introduced to the school community. Together, we launched a joyful and academically enriching school year. We also welcomed a new member of the school leadership team, Mr. Manoj Mathew, who has joined as our Academic Administrative Coordinator to strengthen the school's vision further. Play, curiosity, creativity, and learning are at the heart of meaningful learning. As we begin this new chapter, we look forward to supporting every child as they grow in confidence, knowledge, and character. We are grateful to MIT’s Morningside Academy for Design (MIT MAD) for making their Day of Design workshop materials publicly available. Through the MIT MAD workshops such as Cosmic Comfort, Level Up, and The Ice Cream Workshop, our students were able to explore key aspects of the design process, including ideation, research, prototyping, and iteration. These materials fostered creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving while encouraging students to approach challenges with curiosity and innovation.
