NPTEL gave him the opportunity to learn from courses offered by faculty from IITs and IISc, broadening his academic perspective and encouraging him to take greater ownership of his learning. ⏳ Balancing college examinations, project work, assignments, and NPTEL deadlines wasn’t always easy. But managing these competing responsibilities taught him the importance of consistency, self-discipline, and time management. 🏆 One of the most memorable milestones in his journey was earning the recognition of an NPTEL Discipline Star. This achievement also led him to the NPTEL STAR Interactive Session at IIT Bombay, where he became part of a wider community of learners who share a passion for learning. 💡 For Somay, NPTEL has been about much more than courses and certificates. Selvakumari’s journey is a powerful reminder that the pursuit of knowledge never stops, no matter how much experience you gain. 🎓 An Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Business Administration at SRM Trichy Arts and Science College, Dr. Selvakumari has spent over 14 years in academia, shaping young minds while continuing to expand her own horizons through NPTEL. 📚 What began with her first course, Stress Management, in 2021 soon grew into a remarkable learning journey across Management, Psychology, Humanities, and more.
