  • César González will never forget the day more than 30 years ago when he landed an internship with a world-renowned research institution in Atlanta. In fact, that day inspired the leadership philosophy he still follows. “All those years ago someone took a chance on me,” César said. “It's my job to make sure I pass it forward and help someone the same way someone helped me.” Helping has looked different during his long and successful career. Sometimes, it’s as simple as giving pointers to a colleague on a presentation. Other times it’s serving as President of Wells Fargo’s Hispanic & Latino Connection Employee Resource Network (ERN). Today, César is head of Operational Excellence for Wholesale Operations at Wells Fargo, leading a team that supports Commercial Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, and Wealth & Investment Management. Three months into the role, he's focused on helping teams embrace AI, improve processes, and adapt to new ways of working. But when he reflects on what has impacted his career most, he keeps coming back to something beyond any business result. And that’s the power of a network and the responsibility to build one for others. “I see the value of a network not because it can help my career, but because it leads me to be successful in my job,” César said. “Knowing people across the company, in different businesses, helps me solve problems faster, all while opening doors for talent that might never find them.” It’s why his work with ERNs is so important to him. César has spent years connecting employees with mentors, recruiters, and career paths they may not have considered. “Someone helped you, so you should help someone else,” said César. We celebrate leaders like César who strive to have a real impact on their colleagues' lives and careers.

  • For many people, sending money back home is more than a transaction. It’s about staying connected, supporting family, and sharing life’s important moments, even when they’re miles and countries apart. As both a frequent sender of international transfers and the leader behind Wells Fargo’s ExpressSend® service, Daniela Mounger understands these moments firsthand. Drawing on her personal and professional experiences, she helped re-imagine the remittance experience by bringing ExpressSend® directly to the Wells Fargo Mobile® app, making international money transfers more accessible, convenient, and customer-focused. Watch Daniela’s story to learn how her own connection to family abroad inspired the transformation of ExpressSend® Mobile and reinforced a simple belief: supporting loved ones across borders should be as easy and accessible as any other everyday banking service. https://lnkd.in/egaD2PMq

  • Confidence in understanding the homebuying process is high among first-time buyers. Actual knowledge, though, still has room to catch up. Results from Wells Fargo’s 2026 homebuyer quiz show most first-time buyers answered only three or four questions correctly in the 12-question quiz, with the biggest gaps in strategy and decision-making. Take the quiz and see how well you understand the homebuying process. https://lnkd.in/eTU4_z_d
