Intern - English Language Facilitator Location: Salem, Tamil Nadu We are looking for 4 motivated interns to support our English language program with our partner schools in Salem. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in imparting English language education using technology, classroom management, and program implementation while working alongside our experienced facilitators. A. Field-based engagement: 1. Work across 8 schools in Salem, traveling to respective school locations along with experienced lead facilitators. 2. Accompany the lead facilitator to help engage students and encourage greater participation. B. Classroom support & student engagement: a. Active facilitation: 1. Assist in conducting daily sessions focusing on English fluency and independent sentence framing. 2. Support students in improving their fluency, pronunciation, and communication skills. b. Student-centric approach: 1. Ensure 100% student participation by using interactive methods such as activities, group competitions, and games. c. Targeted support: 1. Identify students struggling with reading or speaking and help the facilitator provide personalized coaching to bridge the gap. d. Digital integration: 1. Learn and manage the Alexa device and other digital tools to assist students with pronunciation and listening skills. C. Assessment & feedback: a. Diagnostic support: 1. Assist in conducting student assessments (Midline/End line) and understand the logic behind evaluation metrics. D. Documentation & administration: a. Reporting: 1. Observe and document the classroom atmosphere, noting student participation levels and specific challenges faced during sessions. 2. Follow all instructions from the facilitator or Team Leader and provide daily updates to the Team Leader and Manager. b. Data collection: 1. Assist the team with data collection, maintaining accurate records, and organizing documentation for program implementation. E. Stakeholder relations & school rapport: a. Head Mistress/Headmaster (HM)/School Teachers: 1. Build strong, professional relationships with the school HM to ensure smooth program implementation and alignment with school goals. Requirements: 1. Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Education or English specializations are a plus). 2. Communication: Strong communication skills in both English and Tamil. 3. Tech savvy: Basic working knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). 4. Attributes: Strong interest in education, willingness to travel regularly to schools, and eagerness to learn in a collaborative environment. Benefits: 1.
