Research

My research vision is to collect, analyze, and understand the manifold factors that influence modern software development. My goal is to improve the planning capabilities and the reliability of  software projects and software products through modern methods and tools – grounded in evidence.

My research focuses on topics related to modern software and system development. In particular:

I conduct my research in close collaboration with different partners from industry, e.g., VW, Siemens, EADS, Lufthansa, 4Soft, with pubic sector partners, and within an international research network. I work according to the principles of evidence-based research to balance my research efforts to ensure both practical applicability of my research results and providing a sound scientific basis.
