They’ve been mowing our lawn for the last few months now and they do a great job. The go above and beyond to ensure there aren’t any tire tracks on the driveway or sidewalks and they always blow everything off so it’s all nice and clean. We also use their irrigation service (have been for about 5 years) and they are extremely helpful in moving things around as we’ve added garden boxes, patios, etc. Great company!

Schendel Lawn and Landscaping put on quite the performance—if you enjoy watching paid professionals practice the art of doing nothing. I handed over $368 for a three-man team to remove two yucca plants, clear evasive weeds, edge the lawn, and handle fall cleanup. What actually happened? Leaves were moved (incorrectly, I might add), while management supervised with the intensity of a man in deep conversation… with his phone.

I explained that I’m a disabled veteran recovering from a fractured knee and needed honest labor, not interpretive loafing. Apparently, that was their cue to turn “customer service” into “creative avoidance.”

And those glowing reviews online? Let’s just say if I were the wagering type, I’d bet they’re from friends, family, or Topeka’s “finest” circle of mutual back-patters—you know, the ones who think mediocrity is a personality trait.

In short: expensive, unprofessional, and about as useful as a rake with no teeth.

We have been serviced by Brian and Chaz. Both of them were super good and very helpful.   They went above and beyond to help us get rid of mice and spiders.   We had to clean the area that Chaz treated a week after he did it and he was so nice to come back and retreat so we could monitor any new activity.  We highly recommend Green Pest.

These guys have been great. I started having numerous pest problems in 2023, and one of them was from a type of insect others couldn't identify, but Nikoe figured it out. The service from the company as a whole has been great, but Nikoe has made it really stand out with how much she cares and the personal and very reliable level of service she provides every time. Highly recommend, and ask for Nikoe!!

Prompt same day repair if two broken sprinkler pipes in the front yard. Also same day inspection for army worms eating the turf.

Schendel takes good care of my yard whether it is weed control or flea & tick prevention.
