Top 90s Black Films: Part 1
Top 90s Black Films: Part 1
The Black films of the 1990s marked a renaissance in filmmaking, showcasing stories that were both broad and deep, offering excellent storytelling. While there were plenty of films depicting ghetto life, there was also a healthy balance of comedies, action films, and dramas that surpassed many of today's ghetto-themed offerings on streaming services. Below is a list of my favorite films from this golden age of cinema. I reviewed over 60 films from this era and ranked them based solely on my personal opinion. I invite you to connect with my choices.

My Favorite Christmas Songs The R&B Edition Part 1 - Prideindex
As I was writing my Christmas cards to friends and family, I was browsing my music collection to find something that would get me into the Christmas spirit. Many of my favorites came to mind, including all-time classics "This X Christmas" and "All I Want for Xmas Is You" by Donnie Hathaway and Mariah Carey, respectively. I can vividly remember where I was when I first heard these songs, which makes sharing them feel more personal and meaningful.
