FAQs

  • Permanent make up services can take up to 2-3 hours to complete, depending on multiple factors. After the service, the work will stay in the skin for 1-2 years or more, depending on frequency of touch up, lifestyle, diet, etc. Please remember this is designed to be semi-permanent service.

  • Touch up requirements will not truly show themselves until 60 days after initial visit. This is because each individual has different healing processes and timelines. Lifestyle, health, diet, and life at home play an important role in pigment retention as well. Also, touch ups should be kept to a minimum. Getting many touch ups does not mean getting better results. The goal is to have complimenting, soft and natural looking features that are unnoticeable in the untrained eye before adding make-up. In other words, you can leave your house without make up and still look ready for the day, or you can use your newly created brows as a blueprint for your extravagant make up during those special occasions without the struggle of drawing them.

  • Micro-blading uses a manual blade to cut the skin and insert the pigment into those tiny slits of the skin. this technique is often misused in regards to depth, and causes the lines to “blow-out” or migrate under the skin over time. The Realistic technique uses a delicate and precise tattoo machine to dot thousands of times per minute creating lines that mimic natural looking hair-strokes. Pigment retention is better with realistic machine brows vs the micro-blade manual technique because there is less trauma to the skin, less scaring and color migration. This technique offers best results for normal, dry, non-oily skin. Touch ups still may be required.

  • Combo brows are a combination of ombre in the tail of the brows, and realistic hair-strokes in the front of the brows. This technique offers best results for normal, to semi-oily skin. Touch ups may still be required.

  • Ombre brows are gradient shading from tail to front, and bottom to top of the brows to create a powdered make up look with no hair strokes. This technique will heal similar to natural brow tint, and offers the best pigment retention for oily skin, although it can be used for any skin type and cover-ups. Please remember that ombre brows are meant as a semi-permanent service. Touch ups may be required. But too many touch-ups or over saturation, may cause color change over time

  • No, the natural eyebrow hair will remain throughout the entire process. Only shaving to create the shape is necessary.

  • The lip blush technique is a gentle and delicate tattooing procedure that offers a younger, healthier looking lip color to brighten up pale and dull looking lips. It is not meant to look like lipstick, is not lip fillers, and we don't offer lip liner. Mosha’s lip blush technique has minimal swelling and zero bleeding.

  • Due to the healing process of this service, we cannot guarantee any final results. Each individual person heals differently. Lifestyle, diet, medication, sun exposure, exercise, genetics, health, life at home, and more, all play an important role in the healing of your service. We can guarantee our work is to the highest standard when you come in, but we cannot guarantee anything once you leave. Your final results will ultimately depend on your body/lifestyle etc.

  • Mosha has over 6 years experience, and is considered a Master Artist, with thousands of clients, hundreds of students, attending 10 classes or seminars or more in multiple countries each year to keep her skills sharp and her technique updated. Many artists consider themselves "masters" after only taking a handful of classes when in reality, the learning process never ends. A true Master Artist is humble, and in the understanding of this concept, pursues knowledge endlessly. Mosha’s prices reflect her relentless willingness to learn, and her ability to offer and provide that same knowledge to her clients and students alike.

  • The skin healing process is complicated. The first day after your appointment, you may feel your brows are too dark, (or you may love them that way ;) Then suddenly, in the days that follow, they begin to peel, or appear to fade. DONT PANIC! This is the skins natural process of healing and creating a new layer of the epidermis on top of that pigment. Your brows will look dark 1-2 days after, then peel 4-8 days after, looking like no pigment is left. DO NOT PANIC AND FILL THEM IN! Your skin is in a sensitive process of rebuilding those dermal cells! After 10-15 days, the skin will begin its final healing process and your new brows will show through beautifully underneath, (provided you didn’t panic when they were still in the early stages of healing). After 20 days, we can determine if a touch up is necessary, or if you’re happy with the result. REMEMBER! we can always add more later. It’s not as easy to take it out. Have patience and trust the process.

  • No, you do not have to be licensed to attend any of our classes. However, you do need to be licensed to work on live models depending on where we are holding classes. Please consider reading your state and local laws, as you may need an esthetician license, permanent make-up license, and blood-borne pathogen training, to be qualified to practice on live models. If you have zero experience with doing brows, you are still welcome to join our classes. We offer realistic latex skin, practice heads, tools, pigments, live model viewing, and the class experience to help you get comfortable working with real people fast.

  • Yes and no. Although we are not a “state certifying” school, you can use the knowledge we provide in or classes to universally grow your own skills, knowledge, and your confidence to help you attain any licensing you may find you need on your journey to become a PMU artist, regardless of your location. Remember, true knowledge is universal. It cannot be limited or governed by anything but your own willingness to learn.
