Greetings, may your stay be a pleasant one.
About Myself:
Random translator who cares too much about his anime/manga/books/VNs stuff.
Language collection (pick your poison):
PT-BR/EN/ESP/ITA/日本語
I still have been trying to find an anime at least at the same level of Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (so far, it STILL is -dated animation aside- superior even to other anime I rated 10/10, in an overall perspective). I wish I could rate it 11/10 like that one guy did to Nisemonogatari way back then, here on MAL.
I also still drop no anime nor manga, and for that, I pay the price of sticking around with freaking Shin-chan for the rest of my miserable life (luckily, it has gotten easier to get access to new episodes nowadays, so I even got into Chibi Maruko-chan of all things lol).
No longer in hiatus, but I'm not so sure when I'll finally finish the rest of this profile thing.
If I don't answer even if I'm online it just means I'm not in the mood to reply to your message. That's pretty much it, really. Don't take it personally though, that's just how it is with me, and I rarely get remorseful towards anyone really. "I'm not a bad slime".
My favorite line to use in MAL's forum in the last few years is slowly becoming "You can't counterargue for shit", because it's rather hilarious how many people in here are incapable of formulating a good point in a discussion, much less following it through as it progresses.

Regarding How I Analyze My Stuff Before Rating:
The more I got to read books, watch movies, anime, plays (as in theatrical performances), blaze through some exciting manga, read carefully crafted visual novels (as well as kink-shaming-worthy eroge titles), enjoy a nice game, and overall anything fiction has to offer, the more I started to realize I should judge each work in regards of their own peculiarities and storytelling inside their respective genres.
That, while also carefully considering what do they represent or at least did represent back in the day they were published/screened/presented, which can also be a double edge sword, likely due to Values Dissonance issues (that being considered, I will try to be as fair and square to them without trying to be harsh unless it's just that bad, since there are even literary masterpieces replete with these I will now mention).
Be it Execution, Presentation, Adaptation, Editing, Representation of a Particular Idea, Messages, Story, Characters, Music, Art Style, Animation, Overall Attention to Detail, Symbolism, Historical and Cultural Significance, Personal Enjoyment and Relatability the work may bring, and, of course, how does the full picture stands on its own with all of these elements applied.
When I pick a work, I'll run through all of the content analyzing it with these in mind and rate it accordingly in its own genre. Genre-Hybrids/Genre-Roulettes/Genre-Busting works will be a bit more troublesome to handle in their own right, so I rather classify them either inside which is the more predominant, or just put a genre hybrid such as "romcom" as a genre per se, or in cases it really is something nearly indescribable in terms of classification.
Japanese stuff tends to go Widget Series, but that aside, most of these end up falling heavily into Metafiction, Magical Realism, Experimental (a.k.a. exclusively experimental work such as Ningen Doubutsuen) and/or Comedy at some point, so it's not that much of a big deal picking one of the bunch.
However, I'll name them as "Shiny Behemoth" if it goes far and away out of its way to deeply develop multiple genres at once equally important within the story. Umineko is probably the closest I have to that, and I would give it a masterpiece rating in either Metafiction, Mystery, Psychological Thriller or Drama genres anyway (not that these are the only heavily predominant genres in there either, some would argue with great points that it's actually a romance).

And no need for the details, I just wanted to conform that it was some random glitch or an actual feature.
You seem like a really cool guy, can we be friends?
I also just realized that we share the same birthday, that's pretty epic.
And as always, have a wonderful day.
Before anything, your profile looks beautiful, and I love your overall taste as well.
Found your profile on a random forum post a few days ago, decided to take a quick visit. After reading through your biography, I got very curious about the 11/10 rating thingy that you mentioned. Would you kindly elaborate on that topic? I'm very interested in nerdy topics like that.
Have a great day.
I’ve always thought that AI could end up harming humanity, especially when it comes to jobs. It’s already creating fake news, and that’s really not good.
I just hope they eventually make laws or set some limits.

How do you do?
Thanks for accepting the friend request!
Have a lovely evening :)
So considering that you both know Japanese, and are a fan of meta-mystery works I was wondering if you've read the works of Seiryouin Ryuusui, or Outarou Maijou? I've heard that their works are considered to be masterpieces in that genre but there's also the fact that they're thought to be untranslatable. So, have you read any of their works, or are you planning to? 'Cause you're pretty much the only bookworm I know who might've heard of their works.
Criei um canal no YouTube recentemente, e seria incrível se você pudesse se inscrever e dar uma forcinha pra esse meu projeto, vou falar de animes e outros tópicos!! Estarei profundamente grata e agradeço, desde já!
