Greetings. Just a regular fan of anime and video games. Trying to survive each day with huge backlogs on each. Been a fan of anime since when I was a kid, but never actually fully committed to it as a hobby until late 2011 when I decided to make myself relax after long days of college lectures and assignments. So since then, I was fully committed to watch a lot of anime series/movies. Of course, for some little fun, I occasionally watch some anime shorts and music videos to boost the completion count!
I tend to watch anime from all kinds of genres...maybe not as much sports and horror themed though. I also tend to dig into anime shows that have a niche audience (discovered a lot of them since 2011). No point sticking with mainstream stuff when there are so much hidden gems out there that are more better than mainstream ones, which are sometimes overrated or over-hyped. This goes for video games as well.
My most favourite genre is slice of life (SoL), especially Iyashikei, which is my most favourite branch of the genre. For me, SoL is a very unique genre which is not really known to a lot of anime fans (in my region anyway), so it's great to actually watch something that hardly anyone watch. Other genres I like are Shounen, Action, Adventure and Comedy. These of course tend to overlap with each other.

How I rate anime shows:
10/10 - "And…Oh, I got to tell you, it was perfect. Perfect! Everything, down to the last, minute details." - Homelander (The Boys)

9/10 - So close! It just lacks a tiny bit that makes me mark it as a masterpiece, could be the conclusion of the story such as cliffhangers, or the development of the characters. OSTs could also be the reason. Some of these might be re-watched in the future.

8/10 - Overall it's a great anime. But, it just lacks certain parts in the story, character development or overall formula structure that can drive the whole show to a close. Something just felt missing from the show and makes me wish it was there.

7/10 - Has a good promise of being a great show. But, a lot of times the storyline and/or the characters fall flat. Might have some development but never reached a max point.

6/10 - The edge of the cliff. Most parts of the anime is quite bad. Barely watchable at least. But I cannot make a higher score when the plot and characters are underdeveloped. The OSTs can be a hit or miss too.

5/10 - From here on out it's baaaad. Stupid characters, stupid dialogues, stupid behaviours, stupid plot and overuse of certain tropes. Might drop the show unless it's a short which I might finish it (which would be a miracle).

4/10 - Oh man...I'll literally struggle to finish the show, unless it's a short or a music video which are somehow listed on MAL. Everything is just bad, not even one thing I can think of is good. Maybe a bit of OSTs might save it but...not really on the overall scale.

3/10 - I literally just gonna go "BOOOO!!!" at this point.

2/10 - Pretty sure I'll drop the show at this point.
