Chubb Selects Arctic Wolf as Preferred MDR Provider for Cyber Policyholders

Chubb selects Arctic Wolf as preferred MDR provider for cyber policyholders. The arrangement offers eligible Chubb clients access to Arctic Wolf's managed detection and response services to support risk reduction and cyber resilience. (Image source: Arctic Wolf.) Chubb (Zurich/Whitehouse Station, N.J.) has named Arctic Wolf (Eden Prairie, Minn.) a preferred managed detection and response (MDR) provider for its U.S. cyber insurance policyholders with more than 100 employees. The selection aligns with Chubb's focus on strengthening client resilience by promoting adoption of critical security controls that can reduce the frequency and severity of cyber-related losses. Arctic Wolf's MDR service, delivered through its Aurora Platform, integrates with existing customer environments to provide continuous monitoring, threat detection, and expert guidance. The platform, powered by Alpha AI and built on an open extended detection and response (XDR) architecture, processes more than nine trillion security events weekly. According to Arctic Wolf and Chubb's respective 2025 threat reports, exploitation of remote services - such as unsecured RDP or compromised VPN credentials - remains a leading cause of major cyber insurance claims. Arctic Wolf's service includes hands-on support to help organizations implement and maintain high-impact security controls, which may improve insurability over time. "Being selected by Chubb as a preferred MDR provider is powerful validation of the innovation behind the Arctic Wolf Aurora Platform and the results it delivers," comments Nick Schneider, President and CEO, Arctic Wolf. "Our open, AI-driven approach to security operations helps customers measurably reduce risk, and improve resilience. Chubb shares our commitment to delivering outcomes that can help protect organizations and empower them to operate with confidence." Arctic Wolf operates global security operations centers with local personnel in North America, EMEA, and APAC, and maintains a dedicated team focused on carrier and broker collaboration. Organizations insured by Chubb and working with Arctic Wolf may be eligible for preferred pricing and other incentives aimed at improving their cybersecurity posture.

Arctic Wolf acquires UpSight Security for ransomware prevention in Aurora

Arctic Wolf acquires UpSight Security for ransomware prevention in Aurora. Arctic Wolf will expand the Aurora endpoint platform with ransomware prevention and rollback capabilities through the acquisition of UpSight Security. While effective detection and response remain essential, Arctic Wolf recognizes that the speed and sophistication of modern ransomware campaigns make prevention more important than ever. The need for endpoint protection that stops attacks before encryption or data theft begins is growing rapidly. New weapons against ransomware. Arctic Wolf is therefore acquiring UpSight Security to take its endpoint security to the next level. After the integration, Aurora Endpoint Security will have access to patented technology that runs predictive AI models on devices themselves. These models analyze billions of endpoint events to recognize and stop malicious behavior in real time. Aurora is based on technology from BlackBerry Cylance, which was acquired at the end of 2024. The enhanced capabilities should enable organizations to stop ransomware before encryption or exfiltration occurs. In addition, compromised hosts can be isolated more quickly, and the rollback feature offers recovery of affected systems. Arctic Wolf emphasizes that the investment aligns with its strategy to continuously evolve the Aurora Platform as the complexity of modern attacks increases. Dan Schiappa, president of Technology and Services at Arctic Wolf, explains: "Since the launch of Aurora Endpoint Security, we've continued to invest in and advance our endpoint capabilities to deliver industry-leading efficacy and world-class protection." With the addition of specialized AI ransomware prevention, Arctic Wolf is taking the next step in endpoint protection.
