eGuideDog project develops free software for the blind. Currently, we focus on WebSpeech, Ekho TTS and WebAnywhere.

We humans are bound by intellectual abilities. All knowledge is far beyond power of any person. The only way to apply knowledge is to build machines able to present it human way but not limited by volume. Intellect Modeling Kit (IMK) is intended to build knowledge machines (KM) assisting experts on the steps of activity: * Observation; * Producing propositions based on knowledge; * Elimination of impossible propositions; * Selection and verification of the most appropriate propositions; * Memorizing - new knowledge item creation; * Abstraction – building objects representing typical signs of similar objects groups, data mining. KM is not intended to replace human experts, it is built to multiply abilities. Machine should not be responsible for decisions. The IMK is designed to create ready-to-use software applications using simple text files. Any human knowledge can be uploaded to KM by expert not familiar with software coding. Demos present in kit. Thank you for your interest in Speedy Composer. Speedy Composer is an automated application for composing melodies for Speedy Net members. We recently made changes to the source code of Speedy Net, and converted it into the Python language and Django framework. Since Speedy Composer was originally written in PHP, it is not adapted to work with Speedy Net in its current form. So unfortunately we were forced to temporarily close the app Speedy Composer. But don't worry, we kept backups of all the tunes composed by Speedy Composer, and when the website is reopened we will upload them to the new site. Speedy Composer and Speedy Net are open source applications, free software. We are currently looking for volunteers to help us convert Speedy Composer to Python. WebDjVuTextEd allows to edit the text layer of OCR'ed DjVu documents in a web browser. You can modify the structure (paragraphs, lines, words...) create, delete, edit text nodes, modify their container box by mouse, and run a spellchecker. The program does not directly read the DjVu files, it requires exported XML text data and images. When using without a webserver, you can open and save local files, but cannot take advantages of auto-save and spell checking. Note that current SVN version has much more features than V1.0!
