    POCO

    Cross-platform C++ libraries for building network applications

    The POCO C++ Libraries are powerful cross-platform C++ libraries for building network- and internet-based applications that run on desktop, server, mobile, IoT, and embedded systems. Whether building automation systems, industrial automation, IoT platforms, air traffic management systems, enterprise IT application and infrastructure management, security and network analytics, automotive infotainment and telematics, financial or healthcare, C++ developers have been trusting the POCO C++ Libraries for 15+ years and deployed it in millions of devices. Create software for connected embedded devices running Linux, Windows Embedded or QNX. Create cross-platform backends in C++ for iOS and Android applications and combine it with a native or HTML5-based user interface. Create software for IoT devices that talk to cloud backends over HTTP REST APIs. See macchina.io for an IoT platform built with POCO.

    Easy Beginner's Environment in QT

    Easy Beginner's Environment in QT

    This is a port of the ebe programming environment to QT.

    The ebe programming environment is a nice IDE designed for developing Assembly programs. It also handles C and C++ programs as well since there was not much extra effort. It used to support Fortran and this could return if people want Fortran. This project is an effort to recode ebe using C++ and QT. Originally ebe was coded using Python, Tkinter and Pmw, which worked out pretty well. The QT environment offers substantially better GUI controls. The most obvious difference is that Python ebe has a lot of separate windows, while the QT ebe will use 1 main window and a collection of dockable subwindows. This will make it easier to use.

    makepp

    GNU make compatible but reliable and simpler build tool

    Makepp, a build program which has a number of features that allow for reliable builds and simpler build files, is a drop-in replacement for GNU make. It supports almost all of the syntax that GNU make supports, and can be used with makefiles produced by utilities such as automake. It is called makepp (or make++) because it was designed with special support for C++, which has since been extended to other languages like Swig or embedded SQL. Some features that makepp adds to make are: greatly improved handling of builds that involve multiple makefiles (recursive make is no longer necessary); automatic scanning for include files; rebuild triggered if build command changes; checksum-based signature methods for reliable builds, smart enough to ignore whitespace or comment changes; extensibility through Perl programming (within your makefile); repositories (automatically importing files from another tree); build caches (not recompiling identically what a user of the same cache already did

    Featureless Linux Library

    Featureless Linux Library

    Linux Library on top of Libc focusing on long term support.

    When computer power increases, programmers generally add more "features", thus making any performance gains in new hardware negligible. This project is an attempt to develop a library above libc that breaks out of this terrible loop.

    Decision Table Preprocessor

    Decision Table Preprocessor

    Ccide is a Decision Table preprocessor.

    Ccide reads a source program, in one of several programming languages, expands all embedded decision tables, and generates the new, expanded source. Ccidew processes C language programs directly. The script, ccide, uses ccidew and m4, to process BASIC, JAVA, CC, C++, BASH, QB, VB, and EX(euphoria), source files containing embedded decision tables. Ccide checks all conditions once and only once, avoiding side effects. Ccide checks tables for conflicts and other errors. Input example: //DECISION_TABLE: // 1 3 2 2 | light == $$ /* 1=red, 2= yellow, 3=green. */ // N - - - | speed == STOPPED // - - Y - | speed == SLOW // - N - Y | speed == FAST // ______|___________________ // X - X - | Stop(); // - - - X | SlowDown(); // - X - - | SpeedUp(); //END_TABLE:
