My customized linux live spin using 'Awesome' the Window Manager (WM)

My customized linux live spin using 'Awesome' the Window Manager (WM) If you are not familiar with the AwesomeWM you might have troubles using this LiveOS, unless you are experienced with Linux in general. If you are looking for a Windows (Microsoft TM) or iOS (Apple TM) alternative, this Linux spin is NOT for you! As the linux base system i'm using Fedora, which i found to work best for the hardware i have. This project is in no way related with Fedora. The install icon is to be found in '$HOME/notepad' This is highly customized to my very personal liking. * As less GUI as possible * Console for everything * No bling bling but my scripts * LUA hardcoded applications menu Introducing my stuff: * Text User Interface: https://github.com/sri-arjuna/tui * Sutra: Random sutras from the Vedics (german) * Several small scripts Based on: * Fedora: http://www.fedoraproject.org * AwesomeWM: http://awesome.naquadah.org/download/ * RPMFusion: http://rpmfusion.org

Developer Assistant for PUC-Rio Tecgraf sci/tech toolkits on GNU/Linux

This project is an assistant for developers wanting to use one of Lua 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 and/or 5.4, together with the PUC-Rio Tecgraf scientific/technical toolkit projects, on a range of GNU/Linux distributions. The Tecgraf projects are hosted on SourceForge: "im" (Image Manipulation) <https://sourceforge.net/projects/imtoolkit/> "cd" (Canvas Draw) <https://sourceforge.net/projects/canvasdraw/> "iup" (Toolkit for GUIs) <https://sourceforge.net/projects/iup/> Lua also comes out of PUC-Rio, and is a small, portable, fast, powerful, readable, flexible and free scripting/extension language. See: <https://www.lua.org/about.html>. This Assistant helps with installation (needs sudo), and non-sudo day-to-day project activities such as SVN updates and project patch/edit/build/run. The "hello, world" dialog box Bash/Lua script is two lines: #!/bin/bash ../support/play-lua-tec iup=require("iuplua"); iup.Message("MyApp", "hello, world")
