Enlightenment is a window manager for the X11 windowing system. Its design goal is to be as configurable as possible - in look AND in feel.

FVWM - Crystal aims to create an easy to use, eye-candy but also powerful desktop environment for Linux or other Unix-like operating systems. The core code was written by harnir Maciej Delmanowski with contributions from many other folks. The current developments are led by Dominique Michel.

wxMathPlot is an add-on library for wxWidgets which provides a framework for easy plotting of mathematical functions, sampled data and generic 2D plots.

SyncWall is quite a basic wallpaper changer with a special feature, it is the ability to synchronize wallpaper change between several workstations with a basic (and unsecured) client/server protocol. Each workstation must share the same pool of files, there is no FTP or Internet download. Because SyncWall is written with Qt, SyncWall runs on Windows and Linux (MacOSX isn't tested yet).

Notion is a tiling, tabbed window manager for the X window system: * Tiling: you divide the screen into non-overlapping 'tiles'. Every window occupies one tile, and is maximized to it * Tabbing: a tile may contain multiple windows - they will be 'tabbed' * Static: most tiled window managers are 'dynamic', meaning they automatically resize and move around tiles as windows appear and disappear. Notion, by contrast, does not automatically change the tiling. You're in control. Features include: * Workspaces: each workspace has its own tiling * Multihead: the mod_xinerama plugin provides very nice dual-monitor support * RandR: mod_xrandr expands on mod_xinerama and picks up changes in the randr configuration without the need for restarting Notion * Extensibility: Notion can be extended with lua scripts.

Karmen is a window manager for X. It has no configuration file and no library dependencies other than Xlib. The input focus model is click-to-focus.

OpenTheme is an XML based GUI toolkit with a set of foundation class and WYSIWYG editor. Although it's originally designed for full screen GUI, it is also good for Windowed user interface, with full localization support and arbitary look-and-feel.
