I think Colin fixed it: could you please try this version?
http://www.castlesofpoland.com/dev-cpp/devcpp.exe
If not please provide exactly what options are you using to
search

please reopen if it wasn't fixed for you - try this cvs build

I think the bug (or a variant of it) is not fixed.
How to reproduce:
Logged In: YES
user_id=609236
as I said before: "please reopen if it wasn't fixed for you"
Logged In: YES
user_id=682737
I'd reopen it but I didn't find any way to do that (except
submit a new bug). I'm not the one who reported this bug.

I hate to drive you crazy, but there's still a problem.
I confirm that F3-in-different-window works now; however, if
I do some searches in some files in a project, then close
all the editor windows (project is still open) and press
alt-shift-f for "find in files", I still get a crash.

fixed in cvs http://www.castlesofpoland.com/dev-cpp/devcpp.exe
you don't drive me crazy. I very grateful that you're
willing to help making dev-c++ bug free ;)
