Hello, Cross-compile can be done in Windows too but you'll need to get all the linux include and libraries. You may also need to pass extra parameters to the compiler. I haven't tried this so i can't give you further help about it. Hello, I would like the cursor in the editor to wrap from line to line. Is there a way to make the cursor wrap? e.g. When the cursor is at the end of a line, and you push the right arrow key it should move to the begining of the next line down, and visa versa. Im sure that I have read through all the help files a couple of times. Im sorry if I have missed it, but I have not found any help on how to make the cursor wrap in the editor. Thanks for any help you are able to give to me. William Thex |

Dev-C++ makes Windows programs. Even if they are for console, they are 32-bit Windows applications. Most Windows compilers (all that i have seeen) do the same thing. If you want to make clean dos programs try to use a dos compiler (like djgpp). @+ Bruno > > From: dev...@li... > <mailto:dev...@li...> [ > mailto:dev...@li...]On Behalf Of Nicolas S= alles > Sent: Monday, 26 February 2001 9:01 AM > To: Dev-Cpp > Subject: [Dev-C++] asm with dev-c++ ?? > > salut, kk'un aurait d=E9j=E0 utilis=E9 de l'asm dans du code ? > j'ai trouv=E9 un site sur la prog graphique qui a du code en c pour que= =E7a > soit bien structur=E9 et sinon c l'asm qui domine. > Mais je ne parviens pas =E0 utiliser l'asm ;o(( > Quelqu'un pourrait-il me donner des infos ou sources, ou m'indiquer une= url > pour plus d'infos. > Merci, > > Zimoro > > exemple: > > void Mode13h() > { > asm > { > mov ah, 00h > mov al, 13h > int 10h > } > } > |

You can get a worldbuilder from www.3dmorfit.com (I think - just search for WorldBuilder at www.softseek.com) in this you create a 3-d world easily (no code, just add/manipulate objects with mouse/keyboard) then you can add this world to your program with calls. This should be documented with the program. -----Original Message----- From: dev...@li... [mailto:dev...@li...]On Behalf Of Max Sent: Wednesday, 28 February 2001 3:48 PM To: dev...@li... Yes this progran was compiled under dev-c++ in the console mode. It will not run under old DOS Regards lonestar36 On Fri, 2 Mar 2001 17:31:13 -0500 "Frazell Thomas" <fr...@fl...> writes: > I 'am not sure exactly what program you compiled but if the program > contains > 32bit instructions it will not run if booted into dos mode but will > run in > the dos prompt at least that what I noticed with my program ;O) > > -----Original Message----- > From: dev...@li... > [mailto:dev...@li...]On Behalf Of > Hun...@ao... > Sent: Friday, March 02, 2001 3:26 PM > To: dev...@li... > Subject: [Dev-C++] DEV-C++ 4.0 DOS queston > > I just installed the program and am new to C++ so compiled a simple > C > program. > It works like a champ in windows 98 DOS prompt but when I try and > run it > after rebooting in DOS I get "This program cannot be run in DOS > mode." > Thanks > for any info. > > _______________________________________________ > Dev-cpp-users mailing list > Dev...@li... > http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dev-cpp-users > > > _______________________________________________ > Dev-cpp-users mailing list > Dev...@li... > http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dev-cpp-users > |

I 'am not sure exactly what program you compiled but if the program contains 32bit instructions it will not run if booted into dos mode but will run in the dos prompt at least that what I noticed with my program ;O) -----Original Message----- From: dev...@li... Subject: [Dev-C++] DEV-C++ 4.0 DOS queston I just installed the program and am new to C++ so compiled a simple C program. It works like a champ in windows 98 DOS prompt but when I try and run it after rebooting in DOS I get "This program cannot be run in DOS mode." Hello everybody, Here is my problem: I have downloaded a DLL witch i want to use in my program. In the DLL package there is the header file, a import library file (zlibdll.lib that i rename in libzlib.a and move to te directory "lib") and the DLL. In the project options I put -lzlib (linker options). The project is well compiled but when I run the program a message box tell me "The file prog.exe is is linked with a missing "exportation" ZLIB.DLL. Any idea ? Bruno |

For mingw32 compiler you need to include the libcomctl32.a file in the compiler options. In Dev-C++ you go to Project Options and click on "Load Object Files". Look for the one above. > When I look in the Include > directory for Dev-C++, there is no "comctl32.h" header file and > "commctrl.h" does not declare it either. This will work. #define ICC_BAR_CLASSES 4 Some other definitions are only available if you define in your code #define _WIN_32 0x0400 // defines for Internet explorer 4.0 hth Chemanuel __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
